Keith Stanfield plays Andre in “Get Out” and Darius in Donald Glover’s “Atlanta”. Glover’s song “Redbone” (as Childish Gambino) scores the scene, telling Andre (and the audience) to “stay woke, niggas creepin, they gon find you, gon catch you sleepin”

This is the crux. Who should be in charge of investing wealth. On one side is government, ostensibly elected for the betterment of the people. On the other, individuals acting in their self interest, which in theory, could lead to tides and boats rising yada yada.

Hyperbole much.

Not bothered by people bs-ing job interviews. Why this company/role? B/c you’re hiring and all office jobs/companies are essentially the same.

“In conclusion, there were mice and there were men, but, and I ask the class ... [pulls at suspenders] were some of these men in fact mice? We may never know.” [bows to the class]

I’m a dog, but this is the internet, so nobody knows it.

They were just waiting for a moment to beat him down.

“Even though I love the sport, I’d smack them in the mouth if they said they wanted to play football.” Parenting, the traditional way of damaging your children’s brains.

The ages of Lawrence Taylor’s call girls and whether Romo is an elite QB.

The CA labor code and wage orders apply to persons working in CA.

Exemplary work, counselor.

Nah, it’s easy to draw lines to claim objectivity in a largely meaningless world. Like calling someone “you’re honor” simply because they wear a robe. Something something brightline rules are the last defense of a coward/scoundrel.

So your argument is that the law says 18, so 18 it is? Do you always drive the speed limit? Any jay walking? Are you in a well regulated militia justifying your gun ownership? There’s the law, a general set of principles, and then there’s actual human behavior. Sometimes the two meet.

Honest questions — what jobs should he be barred from? All jobs or just futbawl? And for how long? How do you feel about “ban the box” statutes?

Maybe equal in intent (its unclear), but unequal in effect. You take your victim as you find her .... “Victim” as a legal or equitable terms, or in the eyes of the public are often shifting concepts. Disproportionate response (effect?), absolutely. Barring from NFL, no. Better suited to civil/criminal litigation.

~49% of people voted for Biff Tannen for president, so fuck ‘em.

Fair enough. I don’t know that most people tune in anyway. Maybe decoupling cable (if it every really happens - corporations are the t-1000, they just reform into new ways of taking people’s money) will burst the sports bubble.

It’s not jersey sales, the league is subsidized by all cable subscribers - even though most subscribers never watch an nba game. NFL too.

Bubble screens are actually a decent strategy if you have only one legitimate playmaker. Same with flysweeps and other quick hitting plays. When you’re stacked with 5 star recruits you run anything you want.
