I’d probably go with a used/CPO G80 (or OG genesis). Compared to your old camry, its a rocket. There is the rwd 5.0 v8 out there if you reallllly want to go crazy.

Depending on pricing, I would absolutely consider this. I just bought a house and am considering something a little more home depot friendly than my Golf, but that isnt a giant gas sucking Taco.

I think my love for the golf started when the rabbit/mkV debut for 06. Every day on the way home we always passed by the VW dealer and they had a silver rabbit with some kinda graphics pkg thing on it (rabbit in giant letters on the lower door) sitting out front and I FELL. IN. LOVE.

I would happily do 1m in an i35. Sure its just a slightly fancier maxima....but it is still one of my favorite sedans of all time, and i would still love to pick up a nice granny-driven low-mile FL version.
