haha the liberty is trash. Slightly better offroad than a patriot, but night and day around town. car-based platform and all

I already know how this will be reacted to, but I’m going to recommend it anyways: a Jeep Patriot

Agreed! I miss it. :(

Curious what generation of camry/corolla you both have?

1- How well integrated is the infotainment screen in person? It looks much more “tacked on” than the hyundai/kia versions do. The corners of those bezels look like you sharpen a knife on them...

I’ve been whipping around in my Mk7 Golf for a couple years now, and other than some quirks like the notoriously squeaky sunroof and slightly 6spd auto, I haven’t had any actual issues with it.

I love being a GA transplant in Ohio. I can always bring deviled eggs and I know I wont have to compete with anyone else. Back home it was like a family rule that only my aunt would make them for gatherings

I moved from the South to Ohio a few years back and I am still amazed at some of the food these people bring to parties. Top contenders include:

As a recovering lego addict (15 years sober!), I was tormented with what to do with my legos as I got older. Eventually I just sold them as a huge bulk lot on ebay for around $600 to some woman in FL who’s grandson also suffered from my disease. I hope they got many more good years out of them, and then passed them on

hehehe ive been thinking the same thing watching those ads.

The one instance I can never get out of my head is from Cast Away, which prominently features a post-97 refresh Jeep Cherokee. Spoiler alert, the girlfriend kept the Jeep the whole time he was stranded on the island and gives it back 6 years later when he is found. *sobs quietly thinking about Wilson*

Not that this is technically wrenching, but I learned the hard way that wheel locks are always always always worth the $40 if you have to park on the street at night...

Mazda Pontiac told David that the fat C-pillar Aztek was purely a design and styling decision, as it really wanted to distinguish the looks....

I love this thing and I will not apologize. I’ve always wanted a Grand Cherokee, but everyone in my family has had nothing but issues with theirs over the years so I have held back. This would do everything I need it to do (read: survive NE Ohio winters/potholes), probably be much more reliable, and the proportions

Interior is beautiful, and so is the sedan exterior. I had such high hopes for the hatch but...yikes what is happening back there on the C pillar!?

This sounds like the perfect opportunity to replace that carpeting with a more food friendly flooring option....

this would still be way better than the last dodge/mitsu truck mashup... you memmer? i memmer...

As the former owner of a Gen II Honda Fit Sport 5 spd, truer words have never been spoken.

You are my hero. I’m 29 and I got the regular Golf last year instead of a GTI. I decided I’m getting too old to be doing stupid shit in fast cars...

Faster than a camper van and a land cruiser lol.
