well that was a weird, weird experience to listen to.

There are a few Jimmy Eat World songs on newer albums that I enjoy, but overall I'd agree with this take.
Vheissu is one of my top five albums I've ever heard. It and The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me were co-introductions to that wing of post-hardcore and have led me to some of my favorite music and bands. I can't say someone's opinion is wrong, because that's stupid, but I can't remember seeing an opinion on this…
It's the only record of theirs I actually like, which is why I totally get why Metallica fans hate it (because I'm not really one).
Yeah, I'd agree that it's more critical a theme in the early parts of the shows you mentioned, and I think YTW is maybe saying something a little different about the subject. Either way it's really cool that this subject is being seriously explored from so many different angles right now.
Well, this assumes he can die. It seems he's already attempted suicide once and it didn't take.
Makes sense, why would we be here if not to argue?
This is going to be huge news in the gay community.
"Jason Schwatrzman to appear in latest Wes Anderson film"
Just like everything else at Taco Bell, it died of dysentery.
If we can somehow work in You're the Worst here, we'll be rolling.
Thanks, all! Sounds like I'll need to go see it then.
The point where I saw that infectiousness (is that a word?) was when Travis hinted that he'd be down to hold the rancho and the spider expert got like, really excited. It felt like he'd become a part of their thing rather than just a dude doing a one-off bit, the way he really got how big a deal it was that Travis was…
For those who have seen it, how "horror movie" frightening is it? I'd really like to see this, but I tend not to enjoy gore and jump scare stuff…basically the closest I get to real horror movies without ejecting is Alien or 28 Days Later (so, not really that close).
I honestly almost exclusively go to movies alone at this point. It feels weird, but it's not like I'm talking during a movie anyway, so I'm not really sure why it's weird. So I just ignore the weirdness and plow through it.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise?
Yeah, thanks for sharing that. "Engaging in a conversation" and "giving them a platform" is bringing a water gun to an Uzi fight when this is what that conversation and platform are used for.
I'm a little worried about the show not because I don't think it will be good, but because I grew up watching the Mike Nelson episodes so I've always had trouble watching ones that don't have him, Murphy, and Bill Corbett. I'm so used to them from when I was like nine years old that it's hard to hear anything else.
Wait, am I not supposed to like Rifftrax?
You know, there are certain flaws in this show.
