What, he totally said, “Tick tock, Mr. Wick.” That’s something, right?

Mantzoukas will be fronting a Morris Day cover band in 4.

I like that everyone (including the writers) forgot about the Dothraki. The Northmen would not have won that fight. Especially given the Unsullied and Dothraki ability to re-spawn.

My take, to be lost amid the torrent of hotter takes is... I liked it.

Not only them being OK with the terms, but what were they doing during the time jump that kept them from murdering Jon Snow 100 times over?

A good, solid finale that deserved a longer, better season.

I had to go to Wikipedia to find out what Fleabag even IS. Would it have been so much trouble to give us the very barest of background info.? Please?

It’s okay though; apparently none of the Unsullied died in that attack that destroyed the entire fleet that was taking them to Dragonstone.

Yes. And it was made abundantly clear that Dany could have won this war in seconds if she chose, whether when she finally attacked or much earlier (like as soon as she landed in Westeros, basically). Flying straight to the Red Keep, decimating it (and Cersei) and laying waste to a few buildings, would have made her

I think the fact that both of those seemingly contradictory things happening is what the main issue is.

I figure Tyrion wanted Davos to smuggle Jamie and Cersei away.

Yeah, like why the hell would Varys try to usurp the queen before Cersei was gone? That’s an incredibly stupid thing to do.

I think they just didn’t really know how to keep incorporating intrigue into the story.

I liked the episode inasmuch as I don’t care about anyone or anything anymore. It’s the little things, like the callback to Cersei watching the Sept burn when she watched Kings Landing burn tonight.

Just like with Littlefinger, Varys, and many others, the HBO team simply did not know how to write Tyrion after they passed the books.  It’s clear that D&D are far better editors and adaptors than they are creators.  It’s a shame.

They didn’t even have to sack the city. They could have just nuked the Red Keep with all three dragons. Very small civilian losses, most enemies dead.

I liked when he was the just the trust fund kid better.

Sansa will put on a pious face, but no more King’s Landing lording it over the North is her happy ending.

No, it’s just basic fiction writing. I don’t need a grim-dark fantasy to tell me war is hell. I read novels and watch shows because I’m interested in the plot and journey the characters are on.  Like, why would I invest time and energy into a story devoid of meaning?  I could go outside and watch a sunset instead.

You see, Euron and Team Cersei used up all their hit points last week with the scorpions which explains why they couldn’t hit shit this week. And Dany. Well she had the most epic dice roll ever which boosted up Drogon to his max so he could take out basically everyone by himself. It’s all perfectly logical.
