I honestly thought going into the review that was the premise of the film, thinking it was going to be some gag about Kroll being shot during the biathlon.

Biden isn’t my pick by any long shot, but the narrative around this is silly. He didn’t snap, he wasn’t being dismissive or insulting, it’s clear from the video he was just(trying) to be playful. At worst it’s dumb and out of touch, but the attempts to turn this into angry old man, racist old man, women hating old

Reboot Veronica Mars? Is there not going to be a season 5?

Well before Borat have it his own spin, I’ve tried, unsuccessfully, on numerous occasions, to mimick Denzel Washington’s reading of “tried today kill...MY WIFE!!” from American Gangster. (It’s the line redo f as well as the body language emphasis on “my” that’s always made the line stick in my head).

Im not a big fan of Stewart, but I did end up liking her in this flick. Though I definitely did not come away from it thinking “bonafide action star.” Anymore than you might think of Jamie Lee Curtis as an action start after Halloween on Jennifer Love Hewitt after I Know What You Did Last Summer. Underwater is a solid

Its one of the cutting reviews I remember of JJ’s ST Into Darkness, how Wrath of Kahn was written by people who had studied and were influenced by Shakespeare, Melville, Hemingway... Whereas Into Darkness was written by people who watched Wrath of Kahn.

I mean, I know it’s pulpy and inherently kind of a lazy affair to start with, but what a dumb movie this ended up being.

I enjoyed the show, but kind of in a detached, admire the craft kind of way, rather than being really drawn in and absorbed with it.

Maybe I missed a news story, but curious we don’t hear much from or about Gaiman with these season 3 antics ramping up. From what I recall he was one of the people behind the switchover from Fuller, since Fuller wasn’t doing an adaptation as faithful as Gaiman would have liked. I’d think that would lead to Gaiman

On the one hand, yeah it sucks to lose a job.

I know it’s Michael Bay so it doesn’t have to make sense but...how does faking their death help with anything?

The shows already planted the seeds for the conceit of bringing Earth’s back (the Book of Destiny), so no doubt they’re going to do some amount of returning the multi-verse.

Especially being with his financial troubles I thought Cage has been in a say yes to anything mode for the last however many years or so.

“I worried that this installment would be a letdown following the Superman-go-round and Bruce Wayne beyond his darkest night from “Part Two,”

Not to derail the conversation, but having read this in several other places at this point, I think it’s weird in the list of things that are admittedly and objectively upsetting, the Jay Leno bit gets thrown in there. It seems like it has nothing to do with the situation. He’s not part of the shows management, he was

I’ve learned to stop voicing nitpicks with the show, cause the next episode will come out and turn out they were actually two steps ahead of me on it already. BUT, yeah, I figure there must be SOMETHING else going on. All the talk last week about the humans improving, and there was no mention about how two of them

On the one hand, yeah it seems kind of like “no doy.” On the other hand, Safelite Autoglass managed to have that skit practically scrubbed from the internet.

I think there was an article recently about how disappointed Disney has been with the crop of new Fox films it inherited after the buy out. Shuffling them farther down (our possibly completely off) the schedule was probably predictable.

Also, I’m confused by the writer’s internal logic. Because he assumes Sara Lee didn’t pay for the spot, he will mention their name, but because he thinks Popeye’s DID pay, he will only acknowledge them as “chicken restaurant”? And to not just decide this is a distinction that needs to be made, but also feel it’s

The action is one of the duller parts in an overall dull movie. Its frustrating in that, if they wanted to feature an action set piece, they COULD have tried to do something interesting. We have this universe where the rules are set up for the weapons and (kind of) the ghosts. So approaching the climax of the film you
