From how I read it, Munn wasn’t aware of the fact until after filming, and she told the studio what she had learned almost as soon as she had found out. Also I believe this all happened several weeks ago, the film has already been cut to remove him. The news about it is happening now, weeks from release, but the

When comcast merged with NBC, it agreed to maintain net neutrality rules put in place by the DOJ for 7 years, regardless of which way the law might bend. So even though the FCC overturned them, comcast has still been obligated to follow certain rules (that agreement actually expired September 1st though, so we’ll see

I didn’t find the first season’s ending terribly definitive at all. I will say I like where/how it ended, and I feel like the show’s tone was already kind of wearing thin by the end of the series, and might really be pushing its luck stretching it out over another season. BUT, the ending was far from definitive, I’d

Norm’s early appearance on Conan were always awkward/amazing. I remember this episode because Norm was bombing for most of it, then before going to commercial he threw out a non-sequitur line about “fluids from my ass,” which was just the right amount of off the wall randomness that threw the show and the interview

I can understand the studio’s decision to give a release a try, they had the film in the can already so why not.

I had a friend who had a paper route, I thought it was scandalous at the time that she took the McDonald’s ads from the Sunday paper (with the free entries) from every single paper on her route to try and win big, looks like she was thinking too small (she never scored anything other than free meals, but, it WAS

I can’t tell if the writer here is being deeply sarcastic with either their take on people’s opinion of Leto’s Joker or with his take on Labeouf here. Both seem to be appealing to a pretty specific brand of Instagram users, while otherwise feeling kind of silly (“this is the modern zeitgeist right?!? We’re super in

I guess all that is interesting? But your original post was making some kind of point around the idea that Black Cat had a black costume first, I was pointing out Catwoman wearing black clearly predates Black Cat, and using the picture to point out one relatively obvious example. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its a stretch to get indignant because in the comic books Black Cat’s costume was black before Catwoman’s costume was black, I mean, putting aside Catwoman in the comics definitely had black costume varieties even in the silver age, but also, this:

I don’t know, can’t really muster up much sympathy for “rich guy gets outspent by richer guys on novelty purchase.”

Traditional animation.

Think I lost interest in this show somewhere in the 1st season, just incredibly lazy characters, plotting, and dialogue. Gave the 2nd season a try based on a positive AV club review and didn’t see the improvement the reviewer saw.

I always thought the first season was setting up a prequel season with all the talk between Bauer and Victor Drazen (Dennis Hopper) and their associated past. The operation they were talking about even seemed named for something to take place in a 24 hour period (Operation Nightfall).

You’re talking like its an all or nothing proposition for AMC. If MP fails, AMC has no reason to care if those people sign up for its program or not. People buying a ticket every time is business as normal, and the preferred model for them. This program is a direct, and stubbornly introduced, response to MP, if

Course, AMC’s $20/month was largely built around trying to be competitive with Moviepass’s $10/month. If Moviepass sinks and no other competition pops up, it will be curious to see how long AMC’s price point remains, or if they even bother prioritizing A-List at all.
