I liked Wilmore on the Daily Show, but he was never a stand-out to me. He was just a guy who came out and did a segment and was fine, I'm sure he'd be capable as host of the Daily Show, but he's certainly not someone who's presence on the show I think was particularly important, special, or at this point, missed. I

Though really, the idea of a monthly subscribtion to a web site for access to 1,000s of videos streaming on demand was pioneered by porn, really the question should be why doesn't Brazzers carry House of Cards?!

Radio? Is that the thing I plug my phone into, so I can listen to pandora?

OHMYGOD Paul F Tompkins yes please!!!

I've seen Jessica Williams name come up a lot, am I the only one who finds her incredibly grating and rarely funny?

The real question is about who the show runner will be. Stewart got eased into it by having Winstead when he started out, and developed the show to his own voice. With him gone, it leaves quite the vacuum at the top.

Hey, you two were already in a movie with me, let's just sign you up again, and hey Kirsten, while I got you, why don't you call up SNL and tell them to send over the blonde gal who's basically doing the same schtick you used to do there. Oh, they have black girls too!? Well that'll save me some time, tell them to

Fright Night!

"There is something about Nev that is unsettling."

They probably could have pulled it off if Casey Affleck wasn't following him around everywhere filming him, which is a pretty obvious tipoff. Seems like there would have been smarter ways to do it while still getting film footage.

Had it been a real meltdown it probably would have been a stain on his career (see Shia Lebouf). But since it turned out to be a performance in what ended up being a wholly forgettable movie, the whole act itself ended up becoming forgettable right along with it.

More than was it real or not I was confused by why Catfish got so much praise. Did the idea that someone on the internet wasn't who they said they were really catch anyone by surprise? Sure, the film did a good job of trying to obfuscate things by making the extent or the ruse more grand, but it was still a pretty

I'm sure he knew the whole thing was an act for the documentary (most anyone with common sense had already put that together, so I'm sure people like Dave, actually in the industry, didn't spend a second being fooled by it).

Only weird that I can't believe anyone actually had any doubt that it was a gag performance. I remember genuinely feeling stumped by how people could actually think anything about what Phoenix was doing at the time was genuine.

Sounds like you've been in situations where it would have been helpful to have a doctor lie tell you that you only have a week to live.

The disrobing is almost comical, as she's wearing all black, and after she undresses her body is still completely (from the neck down) cloaked in black shadows. There's practically no difference between her being dressed and undressed in that scene.

For…research purposes…I googled and found the clip online. The term "wild" very much misses the mark. More like MILDLY masturbates. Amirite fellas!?!

I'm guessing the were very patiently waiting for something, anything to happen that might raise SMG's profile so they would have something they could sell the movie with. After 6 years they probably finally realized that's never gonna happen and just said "fuck it, let's just release it now."

…then put a quarter in the juke box and pick out their favorite Michael Jackson songs.

There's no need for speculation, there's the actual crime that he pled guilty to and ran from. THAT'S the cause for jail. The speculation is just extra fodder.
