If you can swing it, get both. They’re pretty different tools each have their pros/cons. If you’re entertaining, it’s also nice to have two (or more) grilling surfaces.

Kamados are also good around small children. They get warm/hot to the touch, but not searing hot like a kettle grill.

If you're looking to replace a hatchback, sounds like you need a Maverick.

    From the linked article:

Not sure other than online recipes (in general) often tend to over complicate things.

Ah. I never found the need to heat the liquid for pickled onions. One thin-sliced red onion in a 1/2c of apple cider vinegar+1.5tsp salt+1tbsp sugar for a couple hours. Great results; no smell. Maybe that’s your hack?

Why is making pickled red onions stinking up your house? I make them all the time and there’s never any aroma.

It’s similar to thinking that LED bulbs are great but I’ve yet to purchase any that last longer than a CFL bulb. Not that CFL are any less wasteful, or don’t have electronic waste involved as well. But people have taken to the theory of LED bulbs longevity and ignored the real world facts of them.

JFC that’s just so insanely eerily cool. So well preserved.

    It’s at 1 hour and 35 minutes.

My new Maverick was $22,530 ($24K with destination), but it’s XLT. But there have been plenty of XLs sold for <$22K with destination. I also got 0% financing. Not even sure you could finance this without at least a 50% down payment.

    “healthy”

Yep. With meat too. My grocery store just had pork shoulders for $0.99/lb. I bought 20lbs and smoked, pulled, vac-sealed, and froze 15 packages. Great on rice pilaf or street tacos for a quick cheap meal.

Shop for soup! Basically, for less then a dollar a serving you can make a pretty decent, nutritious, and filling chicken noodle soup. Freeze leftovers as individual servings and you have easy cheap lunches when you need them.

Lutron Caseta dimmers are supper easy. Work on pretty much any wiring (neutral or not). Plus, if you have 3-way switch you simply tie off one of the switches and install their pico remotes in the opening. The pico remotes are so awesome (a huge advantage to picking their system) because you can install them anywhere

HOOO BOY!!! NOW WE’RE TALKIN’ TWO MOAR WIFIS THAN MY WIFI FIVE.

WIFI SEVEN?!?!??! I HAVEN’T EVEN WIFI SIXED YET!!!

I’d definitely check these out for biking. I usually just use one earbud and keep it pretty low so I can hear my surroundings.

I just realized that I haven’t had to use any de-icer yet this winter (in MN). It’s been great because we got a relatively normal winter without big warmups and ice storms. Just powdery snow. I’ve missed these winters.

Yeah. Other than a weird/awkward performance by Harrison Ford, it’s a pretty good thriller/horror movie. I’d definitely rather watch it than Forest Gump. Plus, Zemeckis has had some downright horrible movies.
