Lived in Houston for one year and Dallas for two & saw a lot of pickups there, but damned if I could tell what everyone used them for. Rarely saw one with anything in the bed or towing more than a mini cooper could handle. I do miss the huge parking spots though.

Right now there's a new 250H on the lot in Ontario CA with less than 50 miles on it. A quick search online shows there are a fair number of new ones still out there. Not really surprising.

Toyota Paseo. Cramped interior, with a tiny backseat and next to no headroom. As soon as an extra passenger was added the 1.5L 90hp engine struggled up hills, and braking became a wait-and-see event.
I live in Santa Monica and love being able to drop the top on my convertible almost any time of the year and take a drive on the PCH. It's a great place to own a car.
