In Home, Mulder suggests that the buried baby was an alien or failed alien/human hybrid. Scully says it’s birth defects caused by excessive inbreeding (which Mulder says is impossible). Scully is right.

Also a big fan of Mon-El. I thought he was super charming and really liked how Supergirl inspired him to be a better person. I think the James plot didn’t work in season 2, but the idea that Kara inspired both James and Mon-El to do better and become heroes worked very well. I also really liked their romance. So there.

Every episode of the HBO series is an adaptation of an issue of an old EC Comic. I think the tangled web of rights has to do with all the EC books, because stuff from Vault of Horror, Haunt of Fear, and Shock SuspenStories was often adapted.
