Just like how most abusers start dude... they start with small things. excusable things... understandable things... say what you will about the scene... or about underage actors and kissing, but writing in the scene because she was uncomfortable? Read that : BECAUSE SHE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND THAT AMUSED THE DUFFER

It may not be straight up abuse, but this is where it starts.

You are a minor and your boss, who is an adult, makes you do something specifically because he knows you are “freaked out” about doing it. He does it for no other reason that he “gets a kick out of it.” That’s an abuse of power.

We can care about two things at the same time.

We can fight more than one thing at a time. While I do believe in ‘pick your battles’, I’ll pick a battle against a grown man harassing a teenager (and this is harassment - it’s a power move, it’s bullying).

Man, if we can’t defend teenage girls, who ARE we supposed to defend?

But little things matter. If you normalize minor actions, it often leaves room for more serious offenses. That’s what this whole wave of allegations and outings has been about: How normalized these abusive dynamics have been. Moreover, in non-Hollywood parts of the world, it’s way easier for grown, professional adults

If they added it post-script because they felt it would facilitate the scene, and gave Sink time to digest the addition, that would be one thing, but if they specifically did it to make Sink feel uncomfortable then that is a big dick move.

It’s less about the act and more about the fact that it wasn’t part of the script, and the ONLY reason Duffers added it in was BECAUSE it made Sink uncomfortable. That’s an asshole move, no matter what. Why does that matter? Because we, as a society, need to stop making excuses and letting people get away with acting

Salomon is unwilling to date a handicapped woman because he might drop her and then she’ll sue him.

ah Michael/anyone would be squicky to me

She appeared to Eleanor and said she found it and it had her name. It’s like when you put on coat you haven’t worn in a long time and you find something in your pocket. It’s not that she remembered it, she just noticed it was there.

I think it’ll be a color that looks brown, but is really a color that humans cannot see.

Now playing

This is what I believe Mantzoukas characters are, he is the same character jumping to every different show whenever a relationship ends and he is just playing himself whenever he pops up somewhere new.

I briefly hoped that would be the case (Eleanor complimented Janet on her tall, smoking hot body, as she often does to Tahani) but the way it worked was better. Hopefully Janet also takes Eleanor’s advice to dye her hair a weird color.

D’Arcy Carden is beyond fantastic as Janet. She makes being relentlessly chipper amazingly funny, as well as hot.

I didn’t recognize him until he turned around, I think in part because I have this mental image of him being super-tall and he isn’t.

They set that up perfectly. Janet was so easy to acquire there was nothing stopping him from getting another one very easily, so why keep this one?

The neutral pocket dimension beneath a shapeless time void just happened to be unguarded? Michael can blame it on good being stupid all he wants, but my theory is The Good Place knows exactly what Michael is up to and is letting him do it to see if he can become a better not person.
