Nah, Aisha’s articles all tend to do this.

I’m literally the wokest person I know (and I currently live in Portland) but you are going out of your way to find something to be offended about. I don’t make a habit of telling another POC how to feel but there’s literally a million other things to be outraged about. Let this one slide.

“Since dealers will have a bunch of lease returns sitting around....”

Am I misreading Korey’s text? Because it almost reads like she’s arguing for allowing shitty woman bosses to behave like shitty man bosses because they challenge gender stereotypes about women in business. And that’s...a shitty argument. “Ambitious” and “tough” are coded words within a capitalist power structure. They

I think you’re giving Jobs far too much credit, he was no genius, just a good salesman AND a supreme asshole/sociopath.

I mean, yeah, he had some missteps, but it’s hard to argue that he mostly single-handedly came up with the vision of what Apple should be in terms of products. Since he died, Apple’s main business plan was:

Not so sure Steve Jobs had uncanny instincts. He resisted two of the things that helped launch Apple into the stratosphere and he treated his cancer with vitamins and high-protein smoothies. But was definitely an asshole.

It is totally possible to run a company and not be an asshole. Women assholes are assholes along with all the men assholes - total equality on that.

Yea but what if I have to tow my boat, the neighborhood’s entire trailer park, and a Saturn V,  huh? What about that, Tesla?!

Who doesn’t drive over 400 miles one way daily? You spend 7 hours commuting to work one way, and 7 hours back, no?

Well I have to tow four horses 800 miles uphill both ways in -40 degree weather with the heater on at 85 mph and carry my wife, my wife’s boyfriend, and my wife’s 6 children, so checkmate Tesla.

If it doesn’t go 800 miles, charge in less than a second and cost $5, it just can't fit my lifestyle! /s

INB4 someone pops up to say that 400 mile range isnt good enough for their daily routine. Dino juice 4ever!!!!

“This is by far the fastest that we’ve ever charged a police officer.”

Not a lawyer but I’m assuming this move is to protect financial assets and property? They have a second home in Florida, so there must be finances there that will be depleted in his defense or seized in civil suits. She’s trying to get her half before he has nothing. Or, in the least, this delays their financial

Correct. This reads to me like the restaurant had named the service charge “tip” to try and be transparent about what it was and what it was for. That, to me, is a good business practice.

I mean, if its mandatory, it’s no longer a tip, its a service charge/fee

No one said she couldn’t afford the tip. She wanted to be able to leave a tip at her own discretion.
