an old Ranger does the “truck stuff” I would do and still fits in the garage.  It’s too bad that the manufacturers don’t bother making something of that size anymore (at least for sale in the US).

“...they should have bought Ducati a few years back...”

Too bad they didn’t keep Buell around to attract a younger audience and gently introduce them to the brand!

I hate the Allegro with a passion but weirdly I find the Vanden Plas better looking. What is more heinous is what Riley did to the Mini:

This reminds me of my inexplicably strong opinions about the Daihatsu Applause. Right down to it being about a grille. Specifically, the early ones are good in a sort of anti-style kind of way. The Applause made a statement, and that statement was “This is a serious person who is sensible and has no time for

That’s awesome. I think your grandfather was mostly responsible for the Pacer’s interior IIRC. They always said they designed that car from the inside out, concentrating first on passenger comfort.

I’m so glad you brought this up. I’ve owned 13 Pacers and I know for a fact that you can fit the sloped hood over a V8. And they made a special radiator to fit under that hood, so neither of those are the reason they went to the ugly grille. I think the reason was that when you’re driving, you see no hood in front of

Agreed, except:

2 doors, and a manual.

Am I alone in thinking the ute prototype is better looking than the production C8?

All this article is telling me is I need a mid-engine Corvette so I can facelift Holden parts onto it.

Ok.

I think Torch has the right answer this time. Find a sport coat to match that interior and it practically screams “campaign worker”.

Here is a bit more in depth talk about it. Basically it created negative pressure by using underbody aero holding it closer to the track. Not confirmed but one of the theories was coil binding and raised suspension allowing the car to suck to the ground in the corners. Chassis was stiffed and a few other things.

If you read “How to Build a Car” by Adrian Newey, he talks extensively about how this is always happening, and how the interpretation of the rules is varying when the language of the rule is ambiguous. If the FIA bans it, they can’t make it stick until next season, assuming that they agree that the rule is ambiguous

*rulebooking intensifies*

It's not that complex, we just have the FREEDOM to royally fuck ourselves in the ass through poor decision-making. If we want to be upside down on a 96 month lease at 17% interest, we'll that's our god-given right and we'll stage a full-scale revolt if you try to prohibit it.

And there’s your problem.

You interpreted that incorrectly. Duke endorsed Trump in 2016. Trump said nothing. When asked about it, Trump said I don’t know David Duke, despite saying this in 2000:

Eat, and I cannot stress this enough, shit.
