The fourth-gen firebird was the only GM car that seemed to take the front licence plate into consideration - but of course it was sized to the US ones, not the wider, skinnier ones we get in europe.

Jon Whyte was a suspension engineer for the Benneton F1 team, and the other designer was Adrian Ward (currently of McLaren).
>Neutral: What’s One Feature You Don’t Need?
The little screen that displays compass direction is useful sometimes, but anything else at all is just pointless.
I’d guess the hood cutout is for the charge ports? Shame they couldn’t integrate it into the “grille”, would have made for a cleaner look.
The centre-mounted keyswitch was brilliant - no more hitting your knee. They also did the keyfobs better than anyone else I’ve seen other than VW.
I wonder why the large red hole at the top - has one of the states up there banned the chargers?
You can see the normal handbrake to the right of the “bop-it” (which is a great name for it). To put the transmission in “Park”, you need to hit the button in front labelled ‘P’. The wife’s Prius had the same pattern. ‘B’ gives you more aggressive regenerative braking, so it’s used much like ‘L’ in a conventional…
Yep - it’s an editing mistake. I’d guess it was meant to say something like (italics mine):
I *did* find a crack pipe first time I removed the spare, as well as a bag of white powder that swiftly joined it in the closest dumpster. I guess that explains who would buy a 1999 Malibu new, though.
Americans love the extra seating - see the glut of ‘three-row’ SUVs as well. Unfortunately, two-door pickups have a take rate approaching MTs.
Instead, I’m going to make you feel a bit better. Prices in the UK are about £1.239/L, or about $6.25 per US gallon.
ULEZ isn’t a full-on diesel ban, though - Euro-6 diesels (anything made in the last ~10 years) are still free of charge.
I have flown London to Oslo for €7, because Ryanair was having some sort of special - even got a full seat!
Proof that deer exist in Richmond Park:
Yep, the standard size for a UK garage is 8'x16' - you’re not getting a pickup in there.
My wife’s best friend has a dodge nitro - not kidding when I say it’s quite possibly the worst car I’ve ever driven.
I had a gen-1 prius, and I loved that thing. The wheels were so far in the corners, I could do a U-turn in 2 lanes. Agree the battery packaging sucks though - it’s behind the rear seat (which also needs to be taken out to get at the battery), and leaves a strange hump in the trunk. The 12v battery is also in the trunk,…
