I haven't had a chance to get into Veep and Silicon Valley yet, so it's just* Game of Thrones, then waiting a bit for Mad Men, so I can fast forward through more commercials. I usually watch Last Week Tonight after work on Monday because staying up late is hard! The Last Man on Earth isn't quite as MUST WATCH NOW as

Yaaaaaaaaaay, TV!

Dougal is everyone's father.

I was going to write a strongly-worded comment mentioning the same thing! I bought and read these books when I was in middle school, not during my terror-ridden semester of student teaching! We demand a correction! Koski would have not let this slide! Anger, anger, etc…

Yes, they used to be charmingly almost believable for a sitcom, and that is what makes the show so disappointing now! I still like and enjoy a lot of things about the show, but I can't help but frown at the writers for betraying the character work of seasons 1 and 2 for the sake of plot lines that are only

Yeah, I feel the pain of the "like that" comment as well. I usually feel the need to hide beneath a cardigan or something, but this gets more and more difficult during the summer.

No shot featuring Stan in meaningless!

Okay, even as a Who-Movie-Non-Believer, I definitely could go for a proper movie with Paul McGann as The Doctor, but I'd still rather have him turn up on the TV show.

I don't really understand why people want movie versions of television shows still in active production. Is it just the appeal of a giant screen?

I would watch a New Girl spin-off starring Lamorne Morris and Nasim Pedrad. I might even enjoy it more than post-S2 New Girl!

I saw stubble in the promos for next week!

FLAGGED for Yorkshire weather spoilers!

WINTER IS COMING…
…in three weeeeeeeks! Or, like, next year. I don't know what happens in this part of the books. Don't tell me!

I never watched this show (except for frowning at one Christmas episode when I was waiting for New Girl), but I heard about it constantly from the vocal music majors when I was in college. Everything I know about it makes me assume that watching it would have been like spending even more time with vocal music majors,

The first season is fun enough that I think it's worth it. The second season's best offering is a brief visual of the headless, shirtless horseman. I've not watched the final two episodes yet, so it may look better or worse going into the third.

Yay! This show lost most of my interest this season, but the two leads are so great and the first season is still my favorite example of beautifully dumb fun television, so I am happy that it still theoretically has a chance to recapture that magic. I hope!

Remember when it was about Horsemen who remained headless (except in flashback)?

It really is excellent!

RIP Phil's Beard - Truly the most tragic television death of the year.
