I would like to see Jon Stewart in a glowy soft focus!

Overthinking is the worst! The only cure I've found it getting so frustrated with something unrelated that all ability to care is removed and you're ready to burn everything. Schedule a flight during a snowstorm!

I don't know, but I don't want him to be totally gone from my screens. I think he's too smart to get involved in an entirely serious media venture, or, as other have suggested, seek office, but I suppose we'll see. His continued presence was just about all that made the end of The Colbert Report bearable. Acting as

Starbucks sent me a link to sign up for Match .com today. Even Corporate Mom wants grandchildren!

A few months ago, I was talking with someone on this very site who didn't even know America: The Book existed! How did we get so old? But yeah, it was passed around my high school as a sort of beacon of light during the darkest days of the Bush years, and it certainly made learning about government more memorable.

Yeah, I'm glad I went to the Fathom Events screening, because I don't think it even showed in my town otherwise, and this is a decently-sized metropolitan area.

I have been fearing this day for so long! ;_;

I don't dislike them as correspondents, but their hosting was quite weird and bad.

I admire this show's commitment to being dumb and fun and a musical, and I can't help it! The sung-recap intro won me over totally.

I picked up a copy a few years back, and got a few hundred pages in before getting bogged down in one of the footnotes. Now it rides around in a box in the back of my car, waiting to be donated/burned-for-warmth-in-a-snowstorm/last-minute-gifted/used-as-car-seat-cultural-prop/used-as-a-wheel-chock/maybe-read-someeeday?

Also! I had banana bread beer? It just tasted like beer that had been stored next to bananas. The label was kind of fun?

It sounds amazing, still! The mojito is my go-to mixed drink, so I am always up for new variations. I threw some strawberries in the mojitos I made for New Year's Eve.

I left my body back there? Heeeeelp! It has so much alcohol in it, and it has been refrigerated (mostly) the entire time. It was kind of like this recipe, I think: http://ruhlman.com/2014/11/…
