But we’ll see Todd Chavez again, right?

Right?

I should know better than to treat this comment as a good-faith argument about Bruce vs Jen’s abilities, even though it’s been a tired talking point for a month now since the first preview came out. But it should be stated at least once in the thread that this isn’t what the show actually depicted.

yeah, it is, youre proof. It seems like.

nah, its pretty accurate. Maybe not to you if youre in florida and touchy about it.

Yep but a lazier show would say something like “I googled you” or “I looked you up on the computer”

Marion finding out about Saul on AskJeeves is a lovely little touch that made me chuckle.

To be fair, he has the largest penis most doctors have ever seen. They didn’t even bother checking him when they did the mall mumps check because they were so distracted.

Jim will always be a Jerry, even as a mall cop, he jerryed up security for sure.

this was a nice show. nowhere near the top of my mcu stuff, but very comfortably atop the disney+ shows (wandavision will always be the one i had the most fun watching, but that mostly had to do with the pandemic of it all [and i preferred the friday release])

At least one of those got to rock out to Master of Puppets (sad face).

It will take some self-discipline, but I’ll probably wait for streaming on this one. I’m at a point where I’m only catching these in cinemas to get ahead of the spoilers, and I’m realizing not a lot of Phase 4 has been spoil-worthy anyway. Sooner or later I’ve got to stop flocking to everything Marvel puts out. Of

They’re talking about Thor as a franchise, not the MCU in general.

yeah, ragnarok was also breathing life into a franchise that hadn’t really found it’s footing. now this IS its footing, so it remains to be seen how much more of the same vibe i actually like, vs how much i enjoyed the change of pace in and of itself with ragnarok. sometimes making an alternative a default removes the

Agreed.

Doom Patrol does it far better - most notably beating up a bunch of lederhosen-wearing fascists to Dead Kennedy’s ‘Nazi Punks Fuck Off!’

Overall, I’m satisfied. There are a few loose ends, though:

Whenever someone asks “what’s the appeal of Wet Leg” I just imagine an absolute joyless person sitting on the otherside of the internet staring blankly at their screen.

The later seasons were never going to top the first few but compared to other animated shows it still went out with a pretty good ratio of watchable episodes

Whether or not this gets an A from me depends on whether it includes the greatest fictional character of all time, Regular Sized Rudy

robber-turned-carnival ride operator Mickey (voiced here not by Bill Hader but by co-director and Bob’s series creator Loren Bouchard)

I knew it was coming; I just didn’t expect it this soon in the season. His invective-heavy speech—especially his telling Hector, “It was me who put you in that chair”—was a sight to behold. We’re in for a wild ride.
