Work vehicles have done this as well. Though I’m a Ford guy, I love the look of the new Silverado.

Placement is a touch different, but I certainly see the styling cue.

...presumably to fight off wolves and/or peasants.

At first, I was thinking ‘meh.’ Then, upon further investigation and examination of the photos, I instantly liked it. If nothing else, it’s a very cool tribute to their racing heritage.

Feel kind of weird even thinking this, but I’d actually like to see it restored. For something relatively rare, at this price point, it would make an interesting show piece all polished up.

I think they missed the alternate reality version, where Bruce Wayne grew up in a rural region. His parents lost their crops to the tactics of seedy bankers. He grew up to avenge the death of his parents’ crops through tactical agriculture in bank vaults:

I was guessing it had the rudimentary throttle body injection system. I stand corrected.

Emissions, lower compression, timing retardation...all can be fixed with the right amount of know-how and skill.

True enough.

I hear you on Duc’s speaking to you, they have me for some time, I’ve just been hesitant to get into one at the moment. Not to say I wouldn’t in a few years, when my budget is ready for that kind of investment...

True enough, in a fantasy world it could be interesting to watch. Maybe a drag race (I use the term VERY loosely here) from high-Earth orbit to the moon, and use boosters on the way back?

Thanks! My favorite bike is a naked, the ZRX 1200R. With that bike, though, after acquiring one, it typically comes with a list of mods I want to do, like Ohlins (either telescoping or order a new triple tree to fit inverted Ohlins), wheels (stock ZRX wheels are heavy), carb jetting, exhaust, and so on. By the time

It looks like it’s packing everything I’d want in a bike. Torquey, beautifully-sounding L-twin. Lightweight. Ohlins all the way around. Styling is quirky, but aggressive enough to look like it’ll kick someone’s ass one moment and then go back to sipping a latte the next.

Solar sailing. Use large parasols that can catch the solar wind, and see whom gets to the finish line first. Use rockets for the return journey.

I’d go for it and bring it back to life if I had room in the budget. It looks like it’s in excellent shape. Probably just needs new seals in the carbs, maybe needs some wiring, a few bits and pieces. This bike could be made to run for under $100 if I’m guessing right. Maybe more if the electronic ignition conversion

462 pounds the bike’s also not light

Perfectly stated. COTD.

This is perfect! Heart of Gold and Samus’ Gunship really made me smile.

Hey, if that’s your thing. I just want to go for the train ride across the plains of Mars.
