Well stated, and a great explanation. It’s part of the reason I’m curious to know the companies that were involved past the shipment of the shocks from the KYB factory.
Agreed. I’m wondering if there was some type of involvement from the neighborhood parts distributors here as well.
Loud bangs, squeals, screeches, knocks, or thumps (sometimes a combination of all of the above). Also, if you accelerate and the vehicle sounds like it’s raining a bunch of metal chips, that’s generally a bad thing (I’ve had that happen on a Toyota 22RE. Most ashamed I had ever been in my entire life.)
I read the report, this is what really got me:
Not everything can sound like a 2-stroke running an open exhaust.
Damn, that looks like a strong contender to become my next motorcycle.
What would you say has been your most defining moment, during a race, to date?
I’m sure the Barber Motorsports Museum has one as well.
You can get rid of the yolk altogether and go to round headlights, it’s only about $8K for the conversion:
When you’re at the top of your game, you can do wild and crazy things.
Hiding behind the eyes.
Well, it’s certainly ... eye catching, that’s for sure.
Did not know that, thank you for posting the vid. I’m not surprised in the least, the H2R has an incredible amount of power for its displacement.
WIN! Thank you for this.
I could pick the price apart all damned day. I love the setup, think it’s ridiculously overpriced, but in all honesty, I’m just a tad jealous of whomever will end up with it.
Thank you! We know that H2R is capable of 206 miles per hour on a closed course, I’m hoping sometime in the near future we’ll see one find its way to a land speed course.
$500 million per hull? You’re thinking conservatively. Very conservatively.
