There’s a marked difference between a motorcycle engineered for all-around streetability (I use that term loosely; the H2R is designed for the track) and a motorcycle designed for all-out speed. The H2R has been run around the Isle of Man. Let’s see that land speed record ‘Busa take the same course.

We’re talking about a car that, with its current Hellcat iteration, will eat alive pretty much every luxury sedan out there in terms of performance. The current Hellcat-equipped Charger, woof! That thing would eat up the Viper RT/10 and GTS of the mid-late ‘90s and early 2000s!

THIS. Thank you, I came here to post this. I loved the styling, it had a futuristic look, but still maintained retro cues and for a sedan, the styling still maintained a strong coupe feel to it.

I had such high hopes for this car. I was falling over myself hoping Chrysler would have stepped into the foray with the supercar manufacturers.

That looks like the origins of the 1-Series. I know the 1-Series is BMW, but it looks like BMW decided to roll out what GM decided to put on the shelf.

Magical place indeed, I’d never want to leave if I had the chance to walk around on those fairgrounds.

People hate it when I refer to recent U.S. military incursions as ‘police actions’ but I’ve felt for some time now the US DoD has largely become a global police force.

I’m kind of surprised to learn that. I figured the Cosworth engine would have held up longer, but, then again, the Cosworth engine was already at the cutting edge in its day. I’m guessing that Vega was meant to be used more as a weekend canyon carver than it was daily driver. Kind of like the current Camaro Z/28...but…

Agreed. That’s the one takeaway from my time in the service: our focus is supposed to be all about money. Saving it, cutting its use, and not spending it if it’s not necessary. I suppose I’m a bit cynical in that regard, and tend to agree with you on the F-35 and similar programs. I could go on a long rant…

Watching the American-dubbed version, I keep picturing Max as thinking to himself, “Okay, enough chatter from you! Your voice is grating on my nerves! You’re going down, punk!”
