I’m sincerely surprised that more people don’t think he’s in the throes of full-on dementia. My grandma is not much older than he is, and knows where she is about 40% of the time. A lot of his verbal cues and weird tics are straight out of the dementia playbook

Yesterday I glanced at the previously.tv boards, where they were talking about Joe becoming the surrogate father to Haley and Joanie. He has already taken on much of that role with Haley.
