This show is such a treasure, I had worried that it was ignored because it doesn’t seem to get discussed much. The acting is top notch across the board, especially McClarnon. The scenery alone would be worth the watch though. 

If I could give anyone involved with the show this season an Emmy it would be Pauline Alexis (Willie Jack). But Devery Jacobs is also very deserving as are many other people involved with the show.

Sentences are rarely reduced on appeal.  They may order a new trial, but I wouldn’t expect a sentence reduction.

I have no idea if all this happened. I will say Emma Roberts has never impressed me either as a person or an actress, and seeing that the latest season of AHS stars her, Kim Kardashian, and Cara Delevigne made me ask if Ryan Murphy had hired anyone who could act. 

It completely tracks with the behavior she’s shown; she beat Evan Peters to the point where she was picked up for it, other celebrities have had issues with her due to her attitude issues...

Ryan Murphy isn’t exactly everyone’s LGBT hero in our community. He’s actually kind of a piece of shit himself!

With a transgender child, no less. God help Emma Roberts if she said that shit in front of Jamie. 

Both parties’ attorneys are Scientologists and the ‘church’ is deeply involved in any divorce proceedings and asset division in Scientologist marriages (because the parties agree to grant its “Ministry of Justice” jurisdiction over all civil legal disputes). So you can disabuse yourself of theory #1.

This very much tracks with how literally everyone in the world imagines Emma Roberts to be.

On the flipside, Jamie Lee Curtis has a wonderful reputation for being a kind person who is a hard worker and respectful to everyone on the crew!

So maybe, just maybe, this film wasn’t targeted toward you, and that’s OK. Men are so used to every piece of media being produced by and for them, that they make these sweeping judgments about stuff that maybe they’re not the key audience for. I’m going to hope two things are true instead of just one:

Afterlife was to me a heartless nostalgia bait cash in that mishandled the passing of a key individual in ghastly fashion. In some ways I kinda look down harder on Afterlife then the 2016, and I aggressively don’t like either.

Let’s not pretend that this actually signals that Phillips is now refusing to support Masterson. Or that she is now acknowledging his guilt. This is about asset protection, pure and simple. She’s dividing their assets/trying to put as much as possible in her name so that it can’t be included in civil suits against…

Full disagree. That movie was screamingly funny. Hell, there’s a supercut of McKinnen doing outtakes that are all improv and they’re all absolutely hilarious. All four of the lead actresses were in amazing form. The problem was that people expected a full on Ghostbusters remake and they didn’t get it. Fuck ‘em.

It…can be both? It’s not like Afterlife wasn’t also a heartless, unfunny cash grab.

Can Anybody, Everybody, please give Ms. Jacobs at least one Emmy, or more than one? She has shown Talent beyond the norm for her age. She has a stelar future before her.
