I’m wondering why the WGA isn’t highlighting the deals that could be made to keep these shows on as opposed to just wanting them off. We know AMC got an interim agreement, for example. If the WGA framed it as “Hey, Disney could cover Dancing with the Stars and its one writer by just signing this deal that does x, y,

If it wasn’t for those “little clubs,” none of the hundreds of other people you’re supposedly concerned about would have living wages, benefits, or safety regulations.

I assume the wrap arounds and intros to segments.

The part where he seemingly refused to let her out of the contract is the bigger issue. If he had no real idea for Season 11 and no real use for her, he could have let her out of the first position contract so she could take the Marvel job.

Not Legit Enough; Just Quit

If he didn’t have a story he could have called her back and asked the network to let her out of her contract so she could get other jobs.  Talking out of his ass AND holding her professionally hostage.

I don’t know about “hundreds,” but yeah it’s true the world doesn’t revolve around them, but it’s also true that the show and anyone who appears on it is going to face industry consequences if they go through with this. If it’s a union covered show then it’s a union covered show. That’s the deal when you hire union

It seems like the point of the story she’s telling is more about the unfairness of the contract than just about Murphy being fickle. Her contract kept her from taking other jobs while she waited for him to stop dicking around and no one at the company would give her clarity while her other options dried up.

It’s always the ones you most expect.

“By the end, he’s always like, ‘I can’t do this again,’ and we agree with him. But then we send a bunch of money over to him and he seems to have a lot less of a problem.”

The lastest MAGA response is that these guys are the subject of smear campaigns by the left “See, why is it our heroes always turn out to be sex offenders? It’s because the left is doing hit pieces on them!”

Grifters like Ballard always gravitate to the far/alt right because they know that demographic will continue to blow them hard without any questioning.

As has been often pointed out, if you want to know what conservatives are guilty of, simply look at what they accuse others of.

According to Vice, the number of women to have experienced sexual misconduct from Ballard is likely higher; the seven women concerned in the investigation are employees only, but multiple volunteers have come forward with similar stories.

It’s almost like there is a very real and personal reason behind every move to fictionalize what sex trafficking actually is.

Dude legit pulled a Bill Paxton in True Lies.

And he was only about saving “the children”. He made sure to check IDs on every woman to ensure they were over 18 before he asked them to grab his dick

I wonder how quickly nothing will happen.

This is the least surprising news ever. It’s sad, but “MAGA conservative gung ho about anti-sex trafficking being a sex predator” is an easy guess.

To be fair, he only said he was opposed to trafficking. He never said he was against sexual assault.
