I love Tatiana Maslany as Helena on Orphan Black so much. She stayed in character on set as whatever clone sister she was playing that day. One of the directors complained to the showrunner that Helena was impossible to direct

Oh, shit man, don’t talk nuance. Everyone knows that one has to side with one OR the other. Apparently. Because this is how logic works.

In his head.

You can be anti Bill Willingham and anti “Big Mean Corporation™”.

Given Willingham’s terrible views that he slathered onto his comics, this has created a hilarious situation:

The Telltales games made me go back to Fables.

And re-reading Fables reminded me why I stopped reading fucking Fables.

The moment where the comic stops and the Big Bad Wolf turns directly to camera and explains to the audience about his unwavering support for the permanent war-footing of the State of Israel is...

Hey,

Thank God someone thought of the children and made all these fairy tale characters public domain. What a hero. Now we’re finally free to use Snow White and the Big Bad Wolf as characters in our own works.

He’s also extremely pro-Israel and even had Bigby give a monologue about how bad ass of a country it is because of how it “strikes back” at threats against it. Guys got some shitty views

I like that DC made Tim Drake bisexual specifically because of how angry he got.

That abortion thing was so weirdly written too. It clearly wasn’t a character making that decision according to their personality and beliefs as presented in the work, it just swerved in out of nowhere as authorial commentary. There was a similar random thing with Israel is the later comics, iirc.

Wasn’t that Once Upon a Time?

Walter White was not likable by the last couple of seasons of Breaking Bad.  Jesse was likeable but Walter was not.

According to Wikipedia, she’s been accused of abusing several people, so I’m pretty comfortable saying she’s probably just a terrible person.

She seems more upset about the fictional rape than the real one.

Pretty awful. Sexist, classist, ableist. A disgusting comment.

I’m replying sincerely and not to offend you, but your comment is hateful. It reflects more on the content of your character than hers, that you would choose to have sex with a woman who you find pitiful and have no respect for (see comment that you “just go with because she’s probably down for anything”). In more

Look, who among us has not made the minor mistake of committing multiple horrific crimes?

It seems like one thing to have to grapple with your own personal positive memories of a serial rapist; it’s another thing to use those as the basis of a defense. I understand and even sympathize with people struggling with how difficult it can be to reconcile your experience with the larger horrible reality. That’s

I would say that if you want to feel sympathy for a guy that raped multiple women (and remember, convicted on two counts) because he’s a good friend of yours, go ahead and keep it to your fucking self.

I was actually okay with her comments about Masterson at first. Yeah, I think you can still remember your friend as your friend after they’ve done something horrible and recognize that human beings are multi-faceted. But then she lost me when she used the word “mistake.” It’s really not okay to describe his actions
