IIRC it was getting overworked from trying to cut costs by shooting something like 3 episodes per day, don’t know if any new information came out in the intervening years though.

I thought so too! But yeah, I think the final joke was how boring actors (or anyone to be fair) can be when caught up in the minutiae of their profession.

I enjoyed I’m a Virgo, although I found myself wondering if it would have worked better being tightened up and turned into a movie. It’s funny how we have so much superhero and fantasy stuff, but we don’t get as much absurdist magical realism like I’m a Virgo. 

If only Patty Jenkins had had the foresight to bring Jennifer Holland into the WW movies.

On the other hand, the Peacemaker/The Suicide Squad characters seem to still be around (and Davis’ Waller is a holdover from the first, Gunnless Suicide Squad).

Yeah, there’s no way they could’ve just gone to a clothing store and done the exact same thing...

There was no need for it, and no justification for it. Audiences certainly noticed how problematic that whole storyline was, while the entire cast and crew appear to have been oblivious.

It still amazes me that despite the number of people who would have been involved with making WW2, apparently none of them pointed out that particular glaring issue. There were a lot of bad choices with that movie, but wow.
