She did hide a knife in the shoe

I also liked how in this show and on Hawkeye, they integrated her prothetic limb into her fighting as an asset. She would use it to block incoming blows and knife strikes.

This was a good show. I hope them posting up all the episodes at once was a good sign and not a bad one. I’d love more of the character, especially

Stan is very under-rated, and that scene was amazing.

Season also had some great songs. “Talk to Daddy” was an excellent bop.

I kinda loved Schmigadoon. It shouldn’t have worked, and in a lot of ways didn’t work, but somehow it also kinda worked. Most of all, the cast was amazing, like, super amazing. Their commitment to the very silliest of premises and the sheer amount of talent involved just made it fun to watch every time.

Spruell was amazing. Real enough for you to think he might be just a really weird guy, and weird enough to make you think he might actually be a centuries old death dealer.

I thought that was so weird too. I rewound to make sure I had seen what I had seen. It must be connected to Munch but I’m not sure why.

And yet we have so many billionaires sinking their money into politics. The Kochs are plenty involved. Bill Gates is plenty involved. Sheldon Adelson is plenty involved. They may try to play to play both sides to a certain extent, but they also super interested in politivs.

Maybe she just wanted to talk to her husband and daughter before risking a low odds escape?”

The headline should really be “Global Pandemic Made Cameo Frustrating and Disappointing to Film.”

Yeah, I think he’s truly one the best out there.

I enjoyed it too! Along with that looooong tracking shot of Hamm stalking across the ranch. Hamm is just perfect in this role.

I haven’t played Hogwarts, but man, that’s a perfect description of the Watchmen movie.

And I’m going to go ahead and quote that link, for the people in the back

Agree.

I think your latter idea with the 30-minute and 60-minute is a good, understandable solution”

I expected it to be terrible, but at the level of CW terrible, and it couldn’t even manage that. And I have watched a lot of CW terrible.

Oh, very good point.

this season is set in modern day, meaning it is ostensibly post-MeToo, and anyone who is meeting Roy for 2 minutes is seeing what kind of man he is. She’d be believed.”

Exactly! Even with all the streaming issues (and I’m not minimizing them), it’s still miles better and cheaper than cable for me. Especially since, despite Netflix’s efforts to the contrary, I can share the account with a family member.
