Such a wonderful, understated gem of a show.

Scooter Libby, Scooter Braun ... even with N=2, the track record isn’t good.

Yeah, the execution is everything, big or small. I love maps that have new things, stories, or easter eggs tucked in the corners as little bonuses. I am very much an explorer not a fighter.

I love a big map. Then again, I’m not a 100 percenter, more of a 90ish percenter which takes some of the pressure off. It’s pretty easy for me to skip or do the minimum of the stuff I don’t like. Loved the huge AC Odyssey map. There are dozens of us!

I guess I should!

Everyone had funny moments, but Bev was the real MVP this ep.

I wouldn’t say it was good, exactly, but it was wacky and fun. I was disappointed when it was canceled because I wanted to see where they would go next.

Oh sure, I remember that too. Now they’re just admitting they lied about the adoption part, which makes it wholly cynical. Before people might have bought that they had deluded themselves into believing they were actually living that awful trope.

There’s no more “cynical attempt to drum up attention” than lying about adopting a child to paint yourself as white saviors, which they now fully admit to.

Personally, I thought it was pretty terrible, but to each their own. Needed more of the kid actors and less of the CGI mess it devolved into at the end (a very common problem).

I thought so too! But yeah, I think the final joke was how boring actors (or anyone to be fair) can be when caught up in the minutiae of their profession.

I enjoyed I’m a Virgo, although I found myself wondering if it would have worked better being tightened up and turned into a movie. It’s funny how we have so much superhero and fantasy stuff, but we don’t get as much absurdist magical realism like I’m a Virgo.

Deadloch was so much fun. Hopefully they come back with a Darwin season.

He’s only a bigot because he CARES. Why do people hate him for loving so much?

Horn is really excellent, just the right amount of mysterious and unsettling without going over the top. I loved how Bear asked twice if she was going to kill him but stayed with her anyway. Like, he trusted her because of their connection and her outwardly calm demeanor, but there’s enough menace to her (and her

It goes back even further than that. He abused Beverly Johnson when they were in a relationship way back in the 90s.

Especially after the shit her ex-best friend pulled on the witness stand. Good on Megan for persevering through ahh the misogynoir that was thrown at her.

Ultraviolet was very underrated. It absolutely shows what a star Elba is, he really leaps off the screen in a supporting role.

I can see using it on the same project, as long as the terms are clearly delimited and agreed to. Hopefully there will be a union negotiated agreement for that at the end of the strike.

I love how Lynch uses sound.
