I think it’s okay to dress up as specific CHARACTER if they are another race- like there was that article about dressing up as Moana. Because Moana was a nuanced and respectful look, celebrating a culture.

Also, I think it’s totally okay to dress up as people of other races for Halloween if it’s genuine, specific, and doesn’t involve any kind of ethnic caricaturization.

I don’t get being perturbed by someone else’s bare feet in an office setting, assuming they don’t stink. Just like...don’t look at her feet? I spend 95% of my time already not looking at people’s feet, so why not make it an even 100%, you know?

Dear ABQ,

Subject: You’re obsession with white people

Dear Mr. Harriot,

I guess they’ve never seen these, then. All old people are fucked.

And before you reply some angry and race-based argument about how bad being black is in America and how oppressed you are, please save it.”

Another facet of that argument is that wood ships wouldn’t be able to hold that many slaves so that’s why we ain’t African, we are the original Native Americans and were made slaves with a pen and not a pistol.

Don’t you think it’s fucked up that she’s calling him disingenuous for pushing Medicaid and access to women’s health services in underprivileged communities while she’s out there advocating the same line as Steve King and comparing Roe v. Wade to the Dred Scott decision - she compared a woman’s right to choose to

Still remember my father’s phrase from our first abortion referendum - fifth one due next summer…

Michael, LOL BYE. I can’t this morning.

That’s not fair. They still need the poors to linger on, miserable yet alive, until the robots are ready to take on the majority of job functions, then the GOP wants them to go die in a gutter.

At the end of the day, what she said was ignorant. Also, he didn’t call her “ignorant” - that would imply a final judgment of her character. He implied that she was ignorant about the importance of Medicaid and the right to choose in poor communities. And clearly, she is. As a general rule, white men should not be
