Okay, but why? Even the thing about sitting on his actual couch and watching Youtube in VR, isn’t that just AR glasses but way more limiting?

This. Without space wizards there not much to differentiate a Star Wars game from any other space shooter game. I get the appeal to the hard core SW fans, but it’s a hard sell to the general public.

Meh.

“Oh, wait, they’re going out of business before the law goes into effect. So they didn’t even try, did they?”

I was hoping for the announcement of an Otome Kaiju Caramelize anime, but alas.

They tried to be neutral. They tried to say out of it. Taking a stance either way is a no-win situation for any company that does business in or with China. Chung forced Blizzard to make a choice. Yes, the could have let it go and done nothing, but doing nothing is still a choice and has real world consequences.

On the other hand, “you broke the rules, what did you think was going to happen?” Chung knew what he was doing and broke the rules anyway. The consequences may be worth it to him in return for making his point, but you can’t fault Blizzard for enforcing the documented tournament rules and doling out the documented

I wonder how much time travel BS they need to let all those people be in the same game.

Gilgamesh is sort of outside the equation. He’s always been a dimensional traveler (IIRC it’s canon that it’s the same Gilgamesh in every FF) so his being on the first has nothing to do with anyone else.

It’s a matter of perception.

That is honestly kind of brilliant. I’d love to see that sort of thing in more games.

Disabling all Cortana functionality is the first thing I do with any new PC. Is that not the standard?

The best is Ultimate, the worst is Brawl. That’s... not really a question.

To be honest, you kind of did screw up using a 70 boost so early. The game is very good about teaching you everything over time as you play through the content in order. You jumped right into the deep end with no prep.

My only woes are the baffling healer reworks (seriously, WTF were they thinking?) Aside from that I have nothing to complain about. The entire expansion, from the story and the questing, to the dungeon design and music, has been absolutely fantastic.

Why do people still insist on positioning the analog sticks like that? Holding a controller asymmetrically has always been awkward and uncomfortable. It was understandable back in the the PS1 days when the analog sticks were literally tacked on after that fact, but that was 20 years ago. It’s time to move on.

Personally I never liked 9 all that much, even at release. It was trying REALLY hard to be 4/5/6 but was ultimately worse in almost every way (except the graphics and music, which are amazing.) Bland characters, plot points copy/pasted directly from 4, EXCRUCIATINGLY slow combat, etc, all added up to game that just

I always preferred Radical Rescue when it came to the Game Boy ones.

This is 0% surprising and 100% disappointing.

This this day that map puzzle in Phantom Hourglass that made you close the DS lid is one my all time favorite Zelda puzzles. It was so out of place, but that’s part of what made it so brilliant.
