It’s also roughly the same size as the current 3 series, maybe even a bit smaller.

Now drive them back to back. The G30 is boring to drive, especially as a 520d. It's a sterile luxury boat without driver involvement. This E34 is very different.

To be fair, those AC Schnitzer wheels are very appropriate for the period and would get you a nod from old school BMW tuner fans. Kinda like putting a set of Alpinas on a 2002.

This was the last generation of Bimmers whose looks I enjoyed, full stop. No qualifications, I think they’re pretty cars.

Came to say the same; $2K too high.

Agreed, $6500 would be NP if it was without issue.

Its not quite a crack pipe, but the seller is asking about two grand too much.

You be careful or the NCDMV is gonna come calling and make you put a plate on it and pay property taxes... still, I love it just the same. Keep ‘em coming.

My wife says the same thing about me.

I just think it’s hilarious that grilles are getting less mechanically necessary while growing larger and larger each year

your story seems to completely validate the premise of the article that the police are bad at deciding who and when to stop?

My Fleetwood cadillac had little red bulbs on the interior headliner that faced forward so you could see them in the rear view mirror. They would light up if the brake lights were working. If one stopped, the interior red “dome lights” would not illuminate. Pretty trick!

Some cars do tell you that information.  The problem is people can’t be bothered to fix it.
