Can someone explain why one would use/appreciate flour sack towels? I don’t find them to be absorbent or good for drying hands. Drying glassware? Yes. I can also see the value in them being low-lint and probably nice to put over a bowl of rising dough. But whenever I worked in kitchens, we used fluffier towels.

There are a lot of bries out there, including flavorful (and downright stanky) ones. Also, I recommend that you try some non-cows milk varieties. Ask your local cheese specialist for recommendations. And never serve it at fridge temperature.

I have the 10 tray version and can attest to it making great jerky (among a ton of other things.) I really appreciate the variable temperatures b/c you can use the hotter range for meats, but also turn it down lower for other things like delicate pears.

I came here to say that the exact same thing happened to me. There are still cancer-causing strains that it doesn’t cover, and I definitely had to have precancerous cells removed due to one of those. Get vaccinated for sure, but be educated about it.

As someone who is allergic to dogs and works in a dog-friendly office... I totally recommend looking into immunotherapy at an allergist. My old insurance covered it in full, and it has made a big change in the quality of my life. I just wish I did it sooner.

We have only 1 closet in our entire house. After an epic collapse of the abysmal Rubbermaid shelves that came with the place, I went all out on an ELFA closet. It matches our maple wood and everything. I even got a ton of noice solid shelves to hold the mister’s sneaker collection. Love it so much.

I think over-shopping is way better than running out of booze. I was at a wedding earlier this year that ran out of almost everything just as everyone got on the dance floor! It was pretty bad.
