Thank you! This idea that women can somehow control life's chaotic and unpredictable nature by regulating our childbearing like a train timetable is absurd. It happens when it's ready.

Berkeley is not really that tolerant of differences. It's actually pretty racist and classist, unless you're the right kind of (crunchy, dreadlocked, spiritual) black. I say this as a white girl from a bordering city.
