My old turbobrick

87 Volvo 740 turbo wagon

The FD RX7 has a simple elegance that's just beautiful if it is stock or tastefully modded.

0-60 times are worthless. Toss a set of ET Streets on this thing and watch it run 10s all night long.

Your argument is invalid.

This is why the front page gets a terrible reputation. Why are you even on Jalopnik?

Fantastic advice. We were all talking about how a decent driver, even one with a good amount of road race experience, is at a total loss when it comes to drag racing. I knew I didn't get the run down perfect, but it just seemed crazy that I left an entire second or more on the table. Thanks for the advice. I

I ran 12.8 @106 with my Mustang back when it was stock. You are right on the money with the 60' time though. As a novice, it is incredible to see how much that 60' time means, especially as now I'm having trouble putting the power down.

Loved all that nice smoke from the clutch in your first launch! Woops! Gonna find out soon what one of those costs?

Hispano-Suiza

Detomaso.

Absolutely has to be DeSoto.

Duesenberg, no question!

69' Camaro alcohol funny car. About 2000HP, 1/4 mile in 6.90's @ 200+MPH. Doesn't handle turns very well though. Fastest street car would probably be a C6 Corvette or my old 94' Camaro Z/28. Made around 650HP. Handled turns about as well as the funny car does. Complete death trap.

I call my married life my previous life.

It was a good call, and I'll bet you a large Slurpee that the initial Steeda leak turns out to be true.

Anything resembling a Corvette..haaaaas to be good...

Yeah, they are temperamental and sometimes lock you out.

My vote is for the Vega...
