Johnny’s not gonna fuck you bro

I feel robbed! I went to this thinking it was going to be a sad story of a deformed man who had to work as a circus freak, not an action movie!”

Physical media wins again!

There’s no such thing as being cheated. Award shows are just popularity contests, and one is no better or worse than the rest. Its like asking “what’s better, Niagara Falls or the Gand Canyon.” It’s just a choice, there is no right or wrong answer.

“The Nelly track to which she contributed an iconic chorus is more than 20 years old...”

I was thinking the other day about how in Back to the Future, the difference between 1955-1985 was DRAMATIC.

Agreed about Conan. He captured that “cunning lean stalking panther” vibe of the Conan from the books so well. Movie wasn’t amazing but I thought it had some good bones to it and could definitely be expanded upon.

How come 1/2 (or more) of the hard rock and metal guitarists of the ‘80s and ‘90s site Ace as their favourite guitar player, or the reason they even picked up a guitar? KISS have a LOT of bad songs (and some of them are raging dickheads), but their first 6 albums (plus the 2 live ones) are pretty kick-ass - far above

In lockdown, I read a lot of rock star bios. Think stories of surviving crazy situations helped me cope, I dunno. But my biggest excursion was reading all four memoirs by the founding members of KISS.

Two things. One; those four guys should never be in the same room again, sheesh.

Two; they were all kind of what you

Well shit, now Debbie Gibson has to raise their two-headed love child alone :(.

The way it’s hard to discuss online does remind me of trying to talk about the Last Jedi, another movie I liked but discussion goes into so many deeply entrenched ideas, that it’s really exhausting.

Finally a cult I can say I’m a part of! :D

I can’t argue that Eternals is a good movie. It’s just too sprawling and oddly structured. But it’s one of the few recent superhero movies I can see developing the cult that not good but weirdly ambitious movies develop.

I think that once you reach a certain level of wealth, its impossible to lose money. He can make moronic decisions the rest of his life, he’ll always be rich. Him losing 40 million is like me losing 40 dollars. Itd piss me off but it wouldnt destroy me.

It’s not strange. They were wrong. It was obvious. The people who were right were obviously right. To get to the point where you were obviously wrong, you have to examine WHY you were obviously wrong. And if you do that, suddenly you’re in conflict with some fundamental ways you engage with information.

I don’t know that hypotheticals like this do a lot of good, because we just fill the empty space with whatever our preexisting beliefs are. The answer to your question is that we don’t know, because that didn’t happen.

What a gross world we’ve made.

He’s always claimed he is not a know it all and will do better regarding misinformation.

Remember, all the AV Club were ordered to move to LA, sooooo...

I wish I could get stuck with a super horned up Dr Crusher.
