People relentlessly made fun of “nuking the fridge” and I maintain that was the best part of the movie.

Twitter hype should always be looked with sceptical eyes but I had no idea Kosinski had made this. That and Cruise’s commitment to the spectacle has my interest.

this motherfucker electrocutes people even when they guess the correct symbol on the card

I heard he repeatedly referred to a female coworker as ‘an ignorant slut’.

Name one person who thinks that. I just think she’s an out of touch moron with incredibly naive political views. Plus I haven’t seen a fun performance out of her in a very long time. Limo revolutionaries are just tedious.

AVC’s fallen so far that even the gimmick commenters suck now

Speaking of the Ukrainian landlord - that scene where the daughter brings Peter a piece of cake and a glass of milk is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen in a movie. No sexual tension - just a nice person doing something nice for someone who needed a bit of nice just then.

why Will Smith’s career is destroyed but not Ezra

So once again an able-bodied actor is taking the job of a multi-thoraxed cephalopod.

That invisible Jackal fight was just magnificent. It was fun in a really creative way while managing to also tell a lot about the main character, so excellent job all around. In addition, I was really impressed with a lot of the camera work here as there were some really spectacular shots throughout the episode.

That’s damning with faint praise right there.

Of all the talented and attractive actors available, why does Elgort keep getting cast? WhoTF is clamoring for more fucking Elgort?!

This is about the level of emotional control I would have imagined a passionate Jared Leto fan to have

It’s not ok when Daniel Day Lewis does it, either. We just haven’t heard multiple stories about people saying that Lewis is a huge asshole on set. We have heard those stories about Leto, several times.

Did they really have to cast Ealgl Snoret in this?

Yes, disrupting acceptance speeches at the Oscars.

There are very big, very real problems with The Crow, not least of which is that the action is not well staged. The production design is marvelous, the overall tone of the film is pretty good, but the script itself amplifies the problems of comic. The cartoonish yet thin characterisation of the villains barely worked

That is 100% not true for Maiden. They do have a sound, but that sound has definitely evolved over time (not necessarily for the better).

that our major beef with the Razzies is not so much their general mean-spiritedness, but the sheer lack of creativity with which they express it

I liked him in Blade Runner because he was really believable a creepy rich weirdo who thinks he’s better then everyone else and you could easily Invision having some kind of sex cult.
