I think the image of R2 floating and lighting oil on fire to explode other droids is still burned in my mind.

R2 was largely CGI in the prequels, IIRC.

Yeah, it's hard to separate patronizing from actual admiration. People fall over themselves to say "Lupita Nyong'o is BEAUTIFUL!" when anybody with a set of eyes knows yes, she is.

I think she's got too weird of a nose to have gotten really big (not that I don't find her attractive, but I couldn't stop staring at it).
