And their pathetic drivetrain options show they have the least creative engineers, too.

But did nobody buy second hand furniture? Just seems mind boggling to me 🤷🏻♂️
So this has nothing to do with the VW but your comment on luggage space for me thinking…
“Goodnight. Stay in your room until I come and get you tomorrow at 7am”. Seems to have always worked.
I’d rather have the BAT one for mid-20s and stuff a N/S55 engine from a modern car 😆
The replaced odo is on the BAT car that’s going for $22k, not the header photo car that has 12 miles. Confusingly written, I agree.
That diagram helps a lot. It’s definitely not something someone would accidentally take because it connects to some other main road (happened to me in NM all the damn time…pavement would turn into sand and then become pavement again in a mile, or a normal paved highway would become a rocky dirt path off the side of a…
Yeah, looking at those photos, I’d have just thought it was another scenic, rocky gravel road. Pretty typical when I lived in NM, wouldn’t have given it a second thought in good weather. Looks like the tricky parts sneak up on you.
Can’t comment about Black Bear, but I did trails in the area of the Rio Rancho crash in a Subaru Forester. Cars can handle a lot if you’re not stupid.
Is Black Bear Pass an actual “road” or is it a trail? I’m not familiar with the area and couldn’t tell from photos. In NM a lot of numbered roads are basically rocky mountain trails which are super dangerous if you’re not expecting it, but they also can’t permit them because they’re state highways.
This is so weird and unique that, even though it’s bound to be a performance dud, I’d want to buy it and just use it as a display for real. Definitely looks faster than it is.
Agreed, I’d really like to know the 0-60 on the hybrid and how it handles. I’m not expecting a race car, but hope it can get out of its own way.
Then GV80? They look infuriatingly similar and have infuriatingly similar names.
Just recently I’ve noticed A LOT of GV70 SUVs near me. Idk if that’s because of the scarcity of the Palisade or that they’re discounted or what, but they’ve become very popular very quickly.
I would imagine this is similar for all cars with electronic gear shifts and/or electronic parking brakes. However, I’d imagine it’s less likely for an ICE car to die and “lock up” on the road like the Tesla did. Though honestly I never gave it much thought…
I imagine Holdback is still in play.
I don’t disagree with you, but CarMax and all the “no haggle pricing” places exist (and are fairly successful) for a reason.
Ima just gonna leave these two links here:
I was all for this at $10k until I realized it wasn’t stock, plus the high mileage. Fox bodies are creeping up there in value, but I think there’s better options out there for $10k than this one. Perhaps that’s just wishful thinking.
Your photo is small, but is that a F3X 3-series? My other car is a F10 5 with the N55. Advance Auto also sells the Mann filters which are the same as BMW’s, o-rings included, for about $12. You can order them a bit cheaper from Amazon but they usually don’t ship them in a box (instead use a bubble mailer) and I had…
