This exactly. The 2021 Civil War will be a lot more “Burning of Atlanta” and less “Pickett’s Charge” in cinematic experience. 

Considering I spent about 10% of my take home income at Lowe’s or Home Depot every month, I’ve never considered asking for a store credit. This is a good idea.

I had to put gas in the car today (i still go into my all but abandoned office once a week) and Costco is the closest gas station to me. The store was packed. The Fashion Outlets adjacent to it were packed. The parking lots of every store I drove past, except for the grocery stores, were packed.

I also spent my Christmas alone and painting! It was...well, it was.

Truck buying guy -I second Tom; it’s probably a better idea for one neighbor to own said truck (sure, do a LLC if you want) and “rent” it to the neighbors for a flat fee. Joint ownership gets messy, especially with insurance.

If you’re self employed and your net income is $50k a year, you’re paying $1200 a month in insurance for a family of four, almost certainly. 

Moving across the country in a 26’ box truck (I wanted a smaller one, but all they had were the big boys). First day was delayed for four hours because my asshole soon to be former neighbors boxed in my driveway and I couldn’t get the truck out.

My house did too! Very retro baby blue bathroom fixtures from the 60s. I painted it porcelain white, but also did a nice muted green on the walls.
