It’s an insult to a guy’s “manhood” that he’s so it desirable, no woman has ever wanted to sleep with him. In the online world, there’s nothing worse than being a “25 year old kissless virgin”. Seems straightforward (and hella misogynistic, obv) as they go.

This is awesome.  It’s a huge position for someone who actually has ethics and qualifications and will seek to better the country.

You’re not wrong, but how will the electric car coming with “free rentals” fix this? Enterprise already picks you up ;)

I have a guest room AND a dedicated office room AND a downstairs “den/library” that I use as storage. I feel like a bad person after reading this. However, trust me, all the problems in your life are still there even with more square footage.

Or you could just, like, rent a car when you need it?  Create a “rental escrow” bank account and throw $50 a month into it?

Not cool. Some of us are very pro-Pete. His acting in Big Time Adolescence was really solid.

FWIW, my independent German car shop will do PPIs for free as a customer service thing. You may need to have an established relationship with them, though.

You’re right, of course, but a full cooling system re-do isn’t prohibitively expensive. At 160k, it’s probably been through it’s first radiator and ready for its second.

Gosh the commenters are all grumpy old men today.

The drivetrain on a LR will last you forever with standard maintenance. It’s all the other shit that breaks and makes the car limp along.

In 2020, it’s inexcusable that it’s not business policy (or even law) that automakers have, on their public website, a way to input a VIN in order to pull up a copy of the original window sticker.

Only if they’ll put the stock wheels back on and lower the price by half.

You go to an eye doctor and wear a mask.

But, like...who cares if they don’t get it?  If you want to, like, live safely - get a vaccine. If you want to risk death, well...don’t.

I just read his description as a literal “I could have died”.

I think that your argument is based on a lot of assumptions, many of which were starting to show cracks even before the pandemic.

A billion times better!  I kinda like it with red tails.

I’m usually the one self-diagnosing and doing preemptive maintenance. 120k on a BMW water pump?Time to change it, even if it’s acting fine. Do that oil every 5k and get rid of those brakes when they’re around 3/10ths. Better than ending up on the side of the road.

They make floor jacks with 24” of range?  Best I’ve seen is about 21”. I’m interested...

Saturn could have turned out like Tesla, Saab could have turned out like Volvo.
