Most restaurants don’t have a plan because...there’s really not any viable options. All the heaters in the world won’t make dining out in New York (or Buffalo, or Chicago, or...) even remotely pleasant in February.

Chevy has decent tech that has been held back by bad designers and REALLY bad marketers.

Every 16-20 year old hip hop star or late 20s influencer cancels out one 72 year old banking baron.

No snark! I’m definitely in the demographic that should like those shows. I just don’t, and find it hard to understand why people do. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I’ve tried to like The Office. I supposedly check several of those boxes you mentioned. I really, really want to like it. I just...can’t. I would love to see some psychological studies on why certain people / personalities are so attracted to shows like The Office and Always Sunny and others just...aren’t. There’s got

I know so many people like you, and it makes me sad that I just can’t like the show. I’ve tried so many times and just can’t do it, nobody is likeable.

Who the heck is “No Dicing” this?! You can’t touch a Z3 coupe for under $10k; this one is well taken care of, had low miles, is a desirable spec, and is so damn clean. I’d prefer red or blue, but they’re so rare that beggars can’t be choosers.

A trucking broker will also stop offering loads to drivers that turn down too many contracts.

They either accept or reject a brokered contract. They’re not compelled to take a fare if it’s not what they want.

This is mind boggling to me. I’m in PA and have purchased cars in NY, DE, NJ, and MD (as well as PA, of course) and have NEVER had them charge me the incorrect tax. It’s wild that this is so different depending on what dealership you go to.

Read literally anything about trucking brokers and you’ll see that your statement is incorrect. They provide an offered price that both parties agree to. If the buyer or seller doesn’t agree to that price, they can select a different server.

Drivers are contractors because Uber/Lyft is a BROKER. That’s the important part that everyone keeps leaving out.

ND as it’s about $5k high based on comp sales.

A marketing plan that will appeal to tens of people.

I bought ten acres in NM for $8,000. For $88k, I could put a pretty nice house on it 😆

Everyone’s gonna have their opinion, but for me it’s 2012. Bluetooth and phone integration actually worked (it was spotty pre-2010 and sounded like ass) and LEDs started to become a thing. I’ll try to keep to around that era if I can.

I fairly routinely do 400mile one-way drives to visit my fiancée who lives in a different state, and sometimes drive back the same day. If there’s a place I’m going that’s less than 18 hours away, I’ll drive. But I also admit that I’m an outlier and that it’s not normal.

My mom had one of these before I was born, had to trade it in for something with four doors and settled on a Ford Tempo, in that delicious beige/pink fawn color that was so 80s.

The post office is the epitome of doing the best they can with what they have. Perennially underfunded, they were still happy to hold our mail during the early days of COVID and were more than friendly when they had to scan, individually, the 30+ certified mailings my office gets every week. I was able to call the
