I can spec out an Ascent and a Telluride to within a few hundred dollars of each other with all similar equipment except for ventilated seats. The average person doesn’t know or care about CVT vs 8-speed. I guess the warranty may sway some people, but it’s never been something I’ve ever considered or cared about.

While I’m not sure what a helo fish is, i agree the Atlas is pretty okay. My point is, there’s nothing special enough about the Kia to be worth waiting for, if you’re in the market for a new car.

While they’re nice and all, for the same price point why wouldn’t you just get an Explorer or Ascent or something? All those quasi-full-sized unibody SUVs are basically cookie cutter anyway.

The quantity of assholes in the comments this morning is significant.

^ this is why I don’t get the epoxy coating thing. The garage is concrete, which gives you traction. You spill oil? Okay fine...it’s a garage, who cares. You want to fill the garage 3’ up with water or oil or coolant? Again, it’s a garage, why does it matter?  I kid, but I’d rather not worry s out breaking my skull

You’re assuming the prosecutors want “justice” and not just “attention”.

Exactly. I expect Mazda to sell literally dozens of these things. Now if they do it to a CX-3, different story.

Everyone’s talking about the “mods”...it’s just springs and a reso delete. It’s essentially unmodified for a turbo Subaru.

Everyone’s getting at the right answer for the wrong reasons.

I agree, in part, however some of the guidance that’s been provided (don’t stay in an enclosed Public space longer than 15 minutes, virus transmission could occur from people breathing or talking, etc) have hinted at its airborne-ness.

Yeah, this article confuses me more than it resolves anything. Weren’t we already under the premise that it was predominantly airborne, while touching a surface and then introducing it into your own system was significantly more rare?

You, sir, are incorrect. The rounded features of early 00s vehicles is refreshing compared to this race to have the most BIGLY and INTIMIDATING truck possible.

He’s talking about leasing, you bonehead.

Which is weird, because all of the Costco / Sam’s I’ve seen have stickers that say something like “LONG HOSE, USE BOTH SIDES”.

Maybe it’s just my natural cynicism but...$3k doesn’t sound that bad?  In the scheme of things, that’s less than a day or two hospital stay and certainly less than a day on a ventilator. Considering there’s no balance billing for COVID, I’m shocked they’re not charging $30k.

How much fun would it be if Nissan decided “fuck it, what have we got to lose?” and made a build-to-order department where you could combine any body to any drivetrain. With 3D printing, anything is possible.

Your point is so true throughout all aspects of society now. The absolute disdain and vitriol spewed forth by many internet commenters is a perfect example. Nobody is allowed to enjoy anything any more, because everything in some way has a flaw that must be exposed or magnified. I’m an elder millennial and our

Exactly. There’s an almost 0% chance this truck has mechanical transmission linkage.

And see, that’s why i legitimately asked the question. I figured DoorDash’s or UberEat’s software would take like three college students fifteen minutes in between classes to write. It’s not exactly groundbreaking.

I sorta want to hear your sister’s take on this, too.
