You forgot the #1 reason to “downgrade” - you just really, really hate FaceID.

Remember the days when HGTV had shows that actually *instructed* you on how to renovate, garden, design, and buy?  Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Interesting the differences across the country. I’m an east coast person and flour was never something we ran low on. My local Aldi has pallets of the stuff.

I have never been more horrified reading anything in my life. I once accidentally purchased bottles of “shrub” drink not realizing what it was, thinking it would be a pleasant change from tonic and gin.

The end of the article mentions that Seth had a functional Apple Pay account. Seems pretty weak on Tesla’s part that SuperChargers don’t accept contactless payments.

Maybe Seth is dumb for not having a backup credit or debit card, that’s not the issue.

Actually the IRS system was just majorly updated a few years back. There’s a YouTube video about the upgrade from CFOL to CADE2 if you’re super into it ;)

I had one like this, 2002, exactly same condition and similar miles. I had to give it away for $1000 a few years back.

It’s probably going to be the opposite of a disaster in 50 years. Slowing of the birth rate, especially as the US has moved to a service-based economy, will allow for far more opportunities for the next generation that what us millennials in our 30s are seeing.

Many people I am unfortunately friends with are already sharing this narrative. Not that many deaths, many that are attributed to corona were people who were terminal anyway, media and BIG MEDICAL is making up numbers to make it seem more serious, etc. There’s no way to deviate from the narrative that they want to

That’s...basically what I was saying. Rugged individualism, etc - the MAN can’t tell the average American what to do because FREEDOM.

Many of the people i know are advocating “Corona parties” like the chicken-pox parties of old. Let everybody get it and who lives, lives. This is America.

You’re not from the US, huh?  It would be impossible for a federal quarantine to work here, just based on human nature alone. There’s not enough police, National guard, and military combined to enforce that.

There are no cops anymore. There are no laws. Routinely, on the highway I’m seeing 100+ mph (which isn’t super uncommon) but also 120+mph in the cars that can handle it. Weaving in and out. Ignoring red lights.

It’s not even doing the offer. It’s just SITTING THERE FOREVER while they do paperwork. Even when I paid cash, I was still there for close to three hours

I like that approach!  I’ll try it next time.

^this kinda. My last car purchase was like this, they had the vehicle priced well and I didn’t haggle. In the finance room, they didn’t try to up sell me. The whole “active” part of the process took maybe 25 minutes.

Actually haggling Best Buy on the price of a fridge can save you a great deal of money.

Oh yeah, you’ll be fine. The bank info becomes a permanent part of your return and can be pulled from the IRS database for the processing of the credit.

We all know that the actual general election is just a show - after all, the Electoral College members can technically choose whoever they want to (they’re bound by state law, which can be changed, and/or get “fined” if they don’t choose who the state told them to choose).
