If the offset was already taken, it’s not coming back. The stimulus payment isn’t offsettable and you’ll be getting that payment.

You’re not talking about one of those “rapid refund” scams...uh, places, are you?

As an aside, even if you did owe, please please file timely. The late filing penalty is huge compared to the late payment penalty (5% per month up to 25% of tax due, vs 1%). Installment agreements can be setup online for up to 84 months of payment.

To be fair, dude, I’ve never found Total Wine in Wilmington to be much cheaper than PA. Maybe by a dollar or two, but nothing crazy. I went there because the selection was so much better.

I did this, but with rubber cement. I’ll probably get hand skin cancer in another ten years 😆

All right, I’ll post it.

Does this really make that much of a difference? I’ve played with numbers on my insurer’s website and the premium cost is negligible between the range of 5000 and 50,000 annual miles. We’re talking less than $50/6mos or something equally small and dumb.

You were the most honest reviewer, but more than that, you were the most honest writer that we’ve seen in a while. The videos (I really fucking hate vids) that you were a part of were fabulous, especially the hate-mail ones, because you were so honest and visceral with your reactions. Stay well, and wish you the best.

Let’s be fair, that Model Y saw more off-road time than 98% of Evoques ever will. Or Macans. Or X3s. Or GLAs. Or Foresters. Or Escapes. Or Equinoxes (or whatever the hell Chevy makes now).  Heck, it probably saw more off-road time than 95% of Wranglers, Discoveries, and Raptors ever will, too.

So what’s the solution here? If you shut down grocery stores and Amazon and the postal service - how do we literally exist as humans? We need food. The potential threat of shutting down shipping and grocery stores is part of why the hoarding was so bad.

What would be more interesting information to know (though I don’t know how you’d get it) would be what proportion of their securities holdings were sold. If $1M+ in sales was not unusual activity and represented a small portion of their total holding, then maaaaybe I can buy their story. If, however, all four dumped

While I understand that being around the same person 100% of the time might get exhausting, I feel like most of these issues that the quarantine have sparked would have been there anyway, they’re just harder to hide now. If someone is acting like an entitled asshole, they were an entitled asshole before COVID came

Didn’t need to read. Decimal point is in the wrong place for a Foxstang; immediate crack pipe vote.

Interesting. I have one set of the gray 2t HF jack stands and one their cheap speed jacks; it doesn’t lift my 535 high enough to allow the stands under the car. Maybe only 1/2” too low, but still...

The thought of more enforcement is cute in these days of marshal law. Since our cops are no longer doing traffic patrol, things like speed limits and traffic laws have gone right out the window. I’m frankly shocked at how quickly everything dissolved.

Low-car peeps, does anyone have recommendations for low profile jack stands? My 535xi is stock, but even at the full height of my jack (like 15” or so), all the stands I have still don’t fit under the car because they’re too tall.

The grocery stores sell beer and wine, and beer distributors are still open. Local distilleries can ship in-state. Just can’t get national brand liquors.

PA just ordered all of their car dealers to close. It’s gonna happen in other states, and it does not bode well for anyone.

I’m interested to see how long this panic-buying will go on. Eventually, people will either have enough stuff or not have enough income to buy stuff. I can understand long lines and empty shelves for the first few days, maybe even a week, after the schools closed but now...? Just seems bizarre.

Good news - a 3/18 press release just stated that the ES payments due 4/15/20 have also been extended to July.
