The problem is not necessarily the type of response, but the fact that Biden spouted off some nonsensical, old man yells at clouds back-in-my-day-boy, not even coherent rambling. Guns good or guns bad isn’t the point; the point is that Biden sounded like my grandpa in the throws of dementia.

I am also a Virgo and I have *willed* myself to stop showing up 15 minutes early. It has taken time, effort, a A LOT of mental anguish. Being friends with a New Yorker who DGAF also helped.

Idk what you’re doing while wearing your shoes, but it’s not like I’m tracking in piles of mud. The dogs are much worse offenders.

You...didn’t read. I didn’t say that *I* ignored the host’s rules. I said that having that rule was dumb. Big difference.

Yes!  Take off whatever you want, but I’m not going to tell you one way or the other

I actually get less carsick (or trainsick) when facing backwards. My body jostles before my eyes, as opposed to the other way round, and that’s okay.

What?  I clean my own floors, yes. I don’t expect my guests to clean the floors, just like I don’t expect them to do their dishes.

Federal Government. We’re almost entirely telework.

I go middle of the road and just wear nice athletic wear. Stuff I would wear to and from the gym and wouldn’t be embarrassed in at the grocery store, though I’d never normally wear it to the grocery store.

My first job, I worked at a grocery store. One day I was headed into the men’s room while another student worker was headed out.

I’m going to be the contrarian here:

It’s actually a great idea. Get some beers, watch the game, and have virtually limitless access to $2 and $3 menu options. I’d bet people would purchase considerably more food per person per visit than takeout.

Been there!  I’ve never felt anything more painful than alcohol through the nose.

Same for me. Just got out of a three year relationship that should have ended after one. Maybe the two extra years is how long it takes our brains to get frustrated and leave?

It looks like a Kia Optima and a Lincoln MKZ (or A7) had a late night rendezvous. Single-element steering wheels where the element is mostly parallel to itself look odd to me.

Reheated rice is always too hard and dry. Do you add more water when you reheat?

But us Americans want out newly financed cars NOW!  See also: small percentage of orders vs. lot sales.

I think it’s like $300-600, totally worth it if you don’t like the car purchasing dance.

Because you’re a logical person who puts the onerous on the purchaser to be realistic about what they can afford. Obviously, people can’t be trusted to show restraint (see: current new car prices).

But in a time when your “information”, whatever that is, is free to anyone...does it matter? I’ve started to get emailed ads from retailers that I just once bought stuff from because I used my credit card and that’s linked to my email account...
