I have no capacity to take on a project car, I won’t be entering this sweepstakes. That said, I am an Industrial Designer and a VW fan (drive an MK6 GLI). If anyone is interested in me helping with some renderings, message me. If I like your idea I will help out. Cheers.

Good point!

There are modern supercars with the simplicity of that 250GT:

The exclusion of the front grill is a bold and courageous design decision. It’s sad that people are so uncomfortable with something new because the last hundred years has taught them to expect it. Its unnecessary on this car, and with 300,000+ of them on order, it doesn’t seem like they need to pander to a few squeaky

If you look closely, it seems that the headlights, grill and front bumper are the only things that have changed. The hood, fenders and everything back looks to be identical.

According to charts online, a 120 lb woman (she may weigh more than that, but just for argument’s sake, let’s say its accurate) will have a .17 BAC after 3 12 oz 5% alcohol beers. Even if she weighs 20-30 lbs more its not an inconceivable jump, especially if the beers were bigger or higher in alcohol.

I see what you’re saying, but I think it will look less notchy when seen from the side... I hope

Actually, Raphael said exactly that in the article.. It’s odd how you missed that.

Was it from Comedians in Cars getting Coffee?
