I'd prefer a game based on the Hearts of Darkness documentary about the filming of Apocalypse Now. You'd get to give Martin Sheen a heart attack, try to get Brando to show up, and try to figure out just what the hell Dennis Hopper was raving about, man.

I think you mean "almost everyone who knows of the movie, but doesn't care enough to pay that close attention" was wrong. People who really go nuts over this stuff would pay close enough attention to the blue prints that the movie shows us, or they are frauds.

Some of the worst acting I have seen on TV in ages: the missing girl crying after being reunited with her mother. I know this is Kevin Smith's daughter, and she doesn't need acting to survive, so I can criticize… must we be subjected to that crap just because her dad likes comics?

Revolt.

Totally agree about AoS. I keep asking myself why I am still watching a show that I clearly don`t think is any good, and the answer is that I still hope it finally becomes good. It actually has gotten better this season, but it`s still pretty crappy. Among its many problems is that it keeps retooling on the fly, as

It does sound like one of their ideas, doesn't it?

Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should.

Helen Hunt?

I like this show, but to call it a superhero show, or to call him a superhero, are a stretch… (not like a stretching superhero though).

That McCartney song is terrible! And I must disagree with the writer of that section… from someone who's heard "Wonderful Christmastime" recently, any respect it gets it way too much.

I assumed they had his estate's permission, I was just thinking that this use of a deceased person's likeness was immoral and/or unethical, even with permission. If nothing else, it is really fucking weird.

They didn't seem too concerned about the moral/ethical perspective for Peter Cushing.

It's not that far from being exactly the same thing.

AV Club doesn't know (or care?), but one person who won't be joining Avengers: Infinity War is Tony Rosato. Rest in peace.

Who gives a shit about this?! Tony Rosato died hours ago… wake up fuckers!

Good point. Although, I bet they go out of their way to not use those names much… they'll be Diana and Arthur, or whatever royal titles they have.

Yeah, I know… this Craig guy may be right about the episode in question (for the record, I thought it was pretty good), but I still don't think he should have publicly bad-mouthed Rob Tapert, a well-known producer with decades of experience in the business. And he can't win any argument on the the Evil Dead with Rob

Doctor Poison is one of the coolest super villain names ever. I looked her up… turns out she was created in 1942, when a fun name like that could be used without irony. Too bad the tone of these shit-films DC is making completely rules out the use of that name by the character herself.

I loved the Catalina Caper episode!

Ahem. What about fantasy set in space?
