Why does criticizing their goal celebrations in a rout suddenly mean you’re pulling against them? Those things are not mutually exclusive.

I finally saw one of these the other day in-person. My only takeaway is that this truck is massive. All trucks are too big.

I grew up riding in that exact seat.

Nada.

This is a great point. People who should understand the game shouldn’t be complaining about running up the score in a scenario where it very clearly matters, but being upset about how the team behaves in the same circumstances is perfectly fine being under scrutiny. If it’s a rivalry game, I might allow it...but this

American forward Megan Rapinoe, she of the most shameful goal celebration when she reacted to doing something awesome on the world’s biggest stage with the DISGUSTING acts of running around and smiling...

+1 merger

A hug fest is not what I would call Megan Rapinoe sliding across the ground and the team dancing after 10 goals. Nor is it Jill Ellis fiat pumping and jumping up and down after the 13th.

-1 (goal differential)

Abby says men don’t get told to not celebrate after scoring. She’s clearly never heard of The Cardinal Way.

My checkbook is ready, sir! Will that be CAD or USD?

Agree!

Barry argues yesterday that the NHL gets a call wrong in real time, which essentially supports the argument for replay.

Thank you.

Amen. My wife is quitting her job in two weeks and this is exactly the sentiment we’re sharing. She’s got the chance to do something she wants to do and refuses to let it pass.

War Damn Eagle, Rod. War Damn Eagle.

Games 6 and 7 looked shockingly similar. Denver just went absolutely cold in the second half of both games and despite out-rebounding, couldn’t see anything fall on putbacks. Immensely frustrating to know that this series could have been done in 6 if they could remember how to shoot.

I was pretty pissed about this result, then I realized that tweet existed and I can’t really be mad at McCollum. He played great and seems like a good dude.

Apologies. In the soccer world, a lot of folks (myself included) pretend that everyone should know the rules even when we don’t.
