You know that’s not what I’m saying.
You know that’s not what I’m saying.
You’re right. But it’s all about phrasing and this one’s reaching into the realm of hyperbole. I think it’s the word “scheduled” that makes it sound more egregious than it was.
No way.
I completely understand the mechanisms of stoppage time, but it’s at the referee’s discretion. And in this case, rewarding a team with an additional attack after their keeper was carded for time-wasting and after the opposing team scored the winner at the end of what was supposed to be added time seems...odd. He’s…
You beat me to it.
Martin Tyler is amazing. You take that back.
I forgot about Siakam, though I’ll admit I haven’t watched enough of him to tell. The guys off the top of my head were Giannis and PG.
I totally agree. Newfound Nuggets fan here (Denver resident the last few years and finally decided to adopt them this year) and Lillard is so fun to watch. I’m just glad he’s been quiet enough the last couple games. And I’ve always loved Harden...fishing for fouls notwithstanding. The more I think about that…
That dunk you linked to at the end of the game had me chuckling when I saw it in real time.
I’m just waiting for the next defensive renaissance to happen, where Steph can’t dribble past a guy and fool him, and gets stuffed because the defender could anticipate it well.
building a team out of 1 scoring god and a box of spare parts
We’ve been truly spoiled by Denver/Portland.
I agree. When they went down 14, I purposely turned the sound off, switched my window back over to editing in Premiere, and waited about five minutes to see if they’d evened the score. Because I assume that’s going to happen, and there’s something deeply annoying about knowing that a team can, and often does, come…
“But it would’ve been deeply irritating to see the Warriors yet again play sloppy and occasionally disengaged basketball for 40 minutes and then bail themselves out with shot-making in the final minute that under any other circumstances would qualify as insane and spectacular.”
Can I just note the irony that Inside the NBA did the Black Masters highlights last night and it took place at Chateau Elon, which is like 5 mins from this town. A segment on 7 black guys and Ernie Johnson playing a mostly white sport 5 mins from a town that won’t let a black dude work for the city.
Coors Field is great. It’s absolutely unremarkable, but it’s one of the better places to catch a game. As for the area, I actually forget that housing exists on the northern end of the park, and generally stay away from anything near the park on the eastern side. I’m apparently too old or too lame for it, much like I…
We’ve been here almost six years now and I’ve been to a few Avs games when they were pretty butt a few years ago, but hadn’t placed my allegiances anywhere outside of the Predators (due to my best friend being a season ticket holder since the inception of the franchise, so I usually just root along with him).
I was unfortunately in a rental Sport last week. It was...not good.
I just can’t see this team winning another trophy this summer. They’ve looked too flat against really good teams.
I had a copy for my Game Gear. Yeah, it’s about the only game I ever played.
