I am not confusing the production of CO2 with NOx. Both are pollutants. Both have short term and long term effects. 40 x (nearly) 0 is still nearly 0. Don’t confuse the penalty of law with what’s best for the environment. If the protecting the environment was the sole purpose of the buyback, then it’s

First when I called him an asshole it is because he is, plain and simple. And he will have to pay if he decided to go to court or get a lawyer. He will not get a lawyer to defend him on contingency and thus will need to pay up saying good buy to his check from VW. Secondly VW’s emissions violations are not as

Appropriate screen name is appropriate. Hate to sound like I’m taking VW’s side in this but man do I not feel the least little bit bad for them telling this dude to fuck right off.

To everyone that has said he meets the letter of the ageeement, judges have the ability to interpret the SPIRIT of the agreement. The spirit is clearly to say they’ll buy it even if there been accidents or problems with the are. To deliberately devalue the vehicle for the purpose of getting extra value at VW’s

I sometimes contemplate that, but always arrive at the same 2 conclusions: 1. too young to actually appreciate such incredible machinery and thus will likely never consider dramatic supercar as anything more than iphone accessory 2. while busy showing off and looking “cool”, in reality, other motorists just hate you.

Hmm, seems pretty grounded to the ground. The owner just wanted to fulfill the commercials promises!

I think it’s a combination of you getting older and GM’s products getting better. Happened to me with Cadillac 10 years ago. Still bought a BMW, though. I’m not dead yet.

I’m a fan. The last Regal GS got me paying attention to Buick again and my dad actually ended up with a Regal GS - it’s a very fun and very stylish car, and it feels very tight and solid over all. Maybe credit for that goes to Opel more than Buick themselves, but I hope those qualities continue to carry over. Can’t

Agree with you. Exterior styling on many of their cars is as good as any other. ATS-V, CT6, mustang, these buicks - all great looking cars. Nobody notices, but they also perform, sometimes best in class.
